I order delivery from here quite often. The food is good and they delivery quickly. One of my favorite places to order food.

I've been going to this place for years now. They have become my favorite place to go to when I want to get food late at night (I think they are open 24/7). The service and food are great (and they get it to you pretty quickly). All in all it's a great place to eat (I recommend the philly cheese steak).

So, I figured that I'd walk down to get a turkey sandwich and some fries. The service was fast, but the food - the food was lets just say unacceptable. I found something in my sandwich and the fries weren't that great! I am quite unhappy with the food and I felt like I wasted my money. Another thing my food came up to $9.21 and the cashier told me it had to be 10 to use my card! Ridiculous, ultimately she charged my card. I wouldn't recommend this deli to anyone.

I work right down the street from Roosevelt, and decided to try it out because I can walk there to pick it up. I was actually surprised, because the food's pretty good (though "gourmet" is misleading, if not an outright lie). I haven't had a bad meal yet, and some of their items are significantly better than I expected. Just know that it's a small corner deli in NYC, and you shouldn't be disappointed. The employees, particularly one guy who's almost always there, are pretty nice people - they now remember my 'usual' order, or recognize my voice over the phone. They make small talk while you wait, which in this city is a welcome surprise as well. My only gripes with this place are the 'atmosphere' and prices. Don't go by the menu on here or their menus, because they're outdated. Add around a dollar to the price of every entree/sandwich/etc, but the sides and smaller items are pretty much as posted or close. The deli itself is tiny, and if there are more than a few people in there, it gets cramped quick. They have a few tiny tables, but I would never want to eat in there - it's way too tight. I go there at least once a week during my lunch/dinner break from work, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The service is great and the food isn't bad for a small corner deli. Try it, and you may be pleasantly surprised.

I think there was a change in management or ownership, but the nice man who was always at the cash register is gone and was replaced by a lady who I still haven't had a good experience with. Since the replacement, the quality of food has gone down and the friendly, neighborhood deli (a hidden gem, really) has turned into a run-of-the-mill, corner joint. The delivery guys are still really nice though.

I work the third shift and Roosevelt has come to my salvation many, many times. I can't say the food is amazing, but at 4:00 am ET who really cares, right? They bring it to me, they remember my name and sometimes they even remember my voice when I call. The delivery guys are sweethearts. I like the chicken salad on rye bread, and although the coffee sucks, the hot chocolate is actually pretty yummy. This is not a gourmet diner despite what the name suggests, but if you are hundgry they will feed you.

The woman who works the register has a severe attitute problem and should not be working there. I go there every morning for breakfast usually ordering the same thing. This morning she charged me too much for the same items and when I asked her about it kindly she started yelling at me, and kept yelling and fighting with me in front of all the customers even when she realized she was wrong. She then proceeded to tell me that she would not serve me anymore even though I give them business and "good bye".
