Going downhill
You'd think that Roomali would get better because of the competition, but instead it seems to be going downhill. The service is atrocious. I walked in and ordered takeout. Two rolls. He wrote them down. I was the only person there. What I got in the bag (which I discovered at home) was two totally different things that don't even appear to be actual menu items. They were just a mishmash of various ingredients. I would be sympathetic to a mix up, if it was busy. But, it wasn't.

On 27th
This place is actually a few doors east on 27th St, took me a little looking to find it. You pay $12 for two different wraps each listed as 2/$11 - ridiculous. Apparently that deal is only for two of the same thing. I also had to ask for sauce with my to go order after seeing others ask, so keep that in mind because the sauce along with the wraps I got were quality.

Can't get enough
I love the wraps here and have them about once a week. I think the Chicken Tikka is the best but several are good. The service is dreary but I return because the food is super tasty.

Best Indian wrap I ever had...
I was suppose to meet up with a date on 3rd ave (she works rt on Madison) but for some reason she had to cancel and I was left starving (. Anyhow didn't feel like dining at some restaurant so was looking for a quick bite as I was walking towards 3rd I came across to this orange shaded loungy looking place. Read the review Impressive and went in not knowing what to order, wasnt some Indian curry rice place but like a Wrap sort of food. Guy at the counter suggested Chk Roll so be it, as long as its not spicy. Roll was ready in about couple of mins, I had my bite not knowing what would it be like BINGO It was actually really delicious. I had to order other one and took one home for my room mate as he is Indian thought he might like a little chk surprise. DEF TRY, I am def am.

Good food, great price, AWFUL service
The service here is pretty much as bad as it gets. You might think that ordering by phone will have your food ready for you 15 minutes. However, the person who takes the order usually forgets that you called and then does not start making your order until you get there. The food however is YUMMY! Bottom link: Go here when it's not busy, order your food, go outside to make a 15 minute call to your mom / work / friends / significant other, go back inside, wait another 5 minutes, get your food, eat. Enjoy!!

Poor Service - Average Food
I come to this joint every month (when I get tired of all the other Indian places around there) and decided to review it only now because of the service. The service is horrible (more often than not) we asked for for additional onions and 'chutney' to go with the wraps and the attendant refused saying there's limited quantity and he wouldn't give us any! Quality of the food as another reviewer mentioned is hot or miss. The wraps on a good day can better than the ones down the road.
