    Online ordering trouble

Great food ... but don't bother with the online ordering it rarely results in your food being delivered.

    Awesome experience!

I stopped in here last night after a friend and I had wandered by and were really hungry. The atmosphere was excellent, the service was spot on, and the food was delicious! I got the salmon special, and it was truly amazing. My friend got the enchiladas, and they were also incredibly good. I thought the guacamole was excellent and a different way to serve it. Yummy margaritas and fast service. 5 stars!

    one of better upscale mexican

this place is really a great option for above average/good mexican food with some atmosphere, without spending too much for mexican..aka rosa or dos caminos..the food is very good and consistent, and the bar really is well stocked with a very skilled bartender, at least the one at brunch, which is excellent, and contrary to the other review, definitely do the pre-fixe, you get really great coffee, seriously they do it well there, with a great cocktail, they actually take pride in their drinks, both for $5 more than just the entree. the only detriment is the host/hostesses can be a little flakely, service is sometimes slow, but you can actually get a table, and considering the neighborhood, 8th and 19th..there really is no better alternative. definitely recommend.

    all hype

I went to the Rocking Horse expecting a great meal. Boy, was I wrong. The Guacamole was tiny, the "relish" dried peppers and the dinner was served as they removed our appetizers. The portions are tiny and the best things are the chips (not salsa) and the wine (not mexican). Over rated by far!

    Great Salsa

Nice place for brunch. The salsa is amazing. It has some kind of cream and garlic in it. The entrees are excellent! The sides that come with the entree could use a little more attention. They were cold, and bland. The pre-fix is overpriced so order alacarte.

    Great spot

Highly recommend this spot for brunch on the weekends. the burritos are amazing and their salsa is perfect. I also love their delivery and to dine in for the shrimp with papaya fajitas. Damn good and worth the trip. We keep going back for more.

    mmmm....

World's. Best. Margaritas. (I am an expert). I didn't eat there, but the drinks are worth a special trip. Even though they're pricey, you're not just paying for the privilege of having an aspiring model mix them for you -- they actually use the best ingredients.
