Great addition to the neighborhood!
I love this place. it is amazing. I am not a vegan or only eat raw foods, but i love everything I have ever had here. The owners are extremely knowledgable and they give great advice. Try the desserts they are yummy, too! I love Tere's Salad. My favorite!

Awesome Raw Healthy Food
My boyfriend and I go here often, and we love the food. We are not Vegans, but we love having a great, healthy meal. My favorites are the Pasta Bolognese called Tallarines Rojos, the Jalapeno Poppers and the Nachos. I love how they transform unhealthy classics into delicious, guilt-free meals!

Best vegan spot!
Healthy, delicious, gluten free, great flavors. I got here as often as I can. The nachos rock.

Ick.
Yes raw food is great for you, but I would rather just eat a plate of raw veggies than the pureed pile of mush I was served. I couldn't even taste any of the flavors mentioned in my meal's description. Will not be returning.

I agree - just go for the dessert!
As a vegan who opts for lush veggies over smart dogs any day, i wanted to like this place soooo bad! but alas, the smoothies and hot chocolate both lacked any real flavor, the "mac and cheese", although good, was really just zucchini slices in an over-gooped mustardy sauce, and the "mashed potatoes" tasted like an overly-spiced and thereby inpalatable baba gannouj - two sides and a beverage came to $30 - yikes! Buuuut, the very delicious saving grace of the evening was their yummy raspberry chocolate mousse cake - SUPER yummy! And the outside seating lent a very magical atmosphere to the place, while the indoor ambiance was just as inviting. I would agree with the earlier review - eat dinner elsewhere and come here for dessert!

truly amazing
My wife and I are devout raw foodies that usually only eat at home because raw restaurants tend to leave you saying, I could make that....and in fact you can. But here at rockin raw it is an entirely different level. The cajun southern and peruvian influence. The food is well thought out and truly reflects the dishes they are recreating. The "egg sandwich" left me speechless. It is irish moss, zuchini, water and spices. The yolk is the same but with turmeric and lemon for color. The texture was shockingly similar to that of a real egg. These guys are well educated and know everything about what they are creating. The jalapeno poppers with cashew cheese are ridiculous as well as the milkshakes....my favorite is the lavender-honey-vanilla. All the desserts are crazy good. The brunch on weekends is the best though. The prix-fix includes bottomless mimosas with fresh organic OJ....They also do a raw bloody mary with Raw Sake.... portion size is what you expect from Raw. Its exactly the food you need, and nothing more. So take a seat in the garden....have a shot of magnesium-zinc magnesol (de-stresser), and enjoy a truly remarkable meal.

Excellent Vegan Food
This place is unique and delicious - a worthwhile dinner stop for anyone who either doesn't eat animal products, or wouldn't mind refraining from them for a night. The dishes are thoughtful and well prepared (not simply a novelty) - I can particularly recommend the tacu-tacu and the tallarines a la huancaina.
