Makes me miss Bruno's
Every time I go there, I am astonished at how bad the customer service is--among with worst in NY. There can be more staff behind the counter than customers in line, and it still takes 20 minutes to purchase a piece of pastry. The staff ranges from rude to sort of nice. The pastry is ok, but not worth the ridiculous amount of effort it takes just to place an order. Bruno's was so much nicer--friendly, staff, prompt service, wonderful pastry. That they had to close and Rocco's survives is a great loss to the West Village.

The most disappointing black & white cookie ever
Overpriced at $3, and with an overwhelming taste of lemon extract. One bite, and I couldn't taste anything save for that lemon extract (even minutes later).

Best cannoli I ever had
Out of all of the dessert places in NYC, Rocco's has to be by far the best I've ever tasted. I used to live in a dorm near Bleecker Street, and my roommates and I would make a pilgrimage to Rocco's at least once a week (even in the snow!) to get our sweet fix. N0 matter what I ordered, whether it was a chocolate cake, cheesecake or an almond cookie, I always got a chocolate covered cannoli to go with it- they were that good!

A Good Spot To Share Desserts & Secrets :)
We dropped in after dinner for a cuppa & desserts and my husband was very happy with their cheesecake. Their coffees & teas are good - both hot & cold. This is a great spot to people watch as the patrons are an interesting bunch from all walks of life :)

The best!
I've been going to Rocco's since I was a kid and it never fails to deliver. The best cakes, cookies, and pastries in the city. They also have a great coffee menu. The staff is so friendly and always welcomes us with open arms. My wife and I go here after dinner for our birthdays. Highly recommend Rocco's to all!

The best ices in the city. On a sweltering summer day this is the place to go. Their lemon ice is so refreshing and sublime it should be outlawed.

A True NYC Gem
Great place, delicious pastries and seasonal ices and gelato, can't go wrong here. I always recommend it and work nearby, so frequent it often. Hope they stay in business for a long time, NYC needs places like this, what our city should be about.
