Eggplant Parm.
Ask for extra sauce, very dry and not enough cheese, ask for spagetti too the linguine it comes with is soggy. Sauce tastes like it's out of a jar.

I <3 Rivoli's
Before I ever visited Rivoli's, I thought I didn't like pizza. I just hadn't ever eaten good pizza. I go to school in MA, but spend my breaks in New York... and Rivoli's is so good that I make special trips to the city just for the pizza. The service is good and the guys behind the counter are the friendliest guys around. They're always smiling and ask how you're doing. The downside? There's a bunch of new guys working there (but they seem friendly!) and the slices have gone up to $2.25 (but that's still pretty cheap!) Maybe there isn't a downside to Rivoli's.

Best slice in the 'hood.
Forget about the hype of John's and Joe's and all of the other coal oven joints. Get two slices and a coke here and you can't go wrong. The calzones are pretty good too.

Gone downhill over the years
Living nearby, I have eaten here for the last 15+ years and I am sorry to say the quality of the food has gone down. Yes, the delivery guys are nice, the service courtious and the pizza still decent. However, the food items have changed so much. Being Italian myself, I was thrilled to find a good lasagna here years ago, something any Italian knows is not an easy feat. I used to love the lasgna here! However the last 2 times I ordered (giving a second try after the first subpar 1 thinking it could have just been a 1 time thing) it was not good. Half the size of previous portions, a different sauce tasting right out of a jar and below average at best. The chicken parmagiana hero used to be stuffed full of pieces of fresh chunky chicken breast topped with fresh real mozzarella. Now that sandwich contains 2 paper thin processed chicken patties topped with a square of processed flavorless cheese. So that's my 2 cents from a customer who misses the old, good food!

Great food, good buy & happy people
Want to meet the happiest delivery man in NYC? Then just call Rivoli. Their entrees are delicious and enough to make two meals, if you're watching the wallet. The pizza is outstanding and always gets great reviews whenever ordered for apartment guests.
