    not good

50 minutes for delivery. Food was absolutely flavorless and soggy. You've got to be a pretty mediocre establishment to screw up diner food. Yet somehow they managed to do it.

    mediocre

This place is right accross the street so we have made several attempts to eat here. Food is always mediocre at best. I wish there was a better place in the area.

    The best ice cream sunday

Ritz is completely dependable - the food is always great. I love the fact that they respect the 'rare burger' and make it rare, rather than that annoying 'medium well' that every other place believes to be 'rare' The ice cream sundae is incredible!!!

They are slowly losing my business

This place is very lucky since it is the only diner in its immediate radius (note to competitors who can check out the empty storefronts on First Ave these days). I do not know where the owners are, but their staff is very rude on the phone, consistently screws up orders and has no quality control for delivery. Enough!

    Find Another Place

I would havd loved for Ritz to be our local diner. We live around the corner and have come in several times for breakfast or post movie snacks. Food and service are uniformly not good. Soup too salty, eggs undercooked, cold fries, slimy lettuce on sandwiches, tasteless pancakes. Waiters seem to prefer hanging out vs. waiting on tables. Its a shame because location is great.

    Good Diner.... I think not

I just had one of the worst diner experiences of all time about an hour ago at the Ritz Diner. This diner did a disservice to the pastrami ruben. I actually had to send it back because there were just two pieces of meat on this sandwich. When i sent it back it took an additional 10 minutes for the sandwich (or lack there of) to come back out, when it did it wasn't a new sandwich all that they did was add one more piece of meat and put it int he microwave. It was saturated with with cheese, sauerkraut, and 4 skimpy pieces of undercooked pastrami. I understand economic times are tough and they are probably trying to save money by skimping customers on meat but if you are reading this you should take your business elsewhere.

    best diner in lower 60's

We order from here all the time and it is great. Now that we moved a little closer we eat here as well. Nice and clean and fast service. Can't beat it for the price and quality.
