As good as any diner on First Avenue from 14th Street to 86th Street. And when you factor in the price for the lunch specials it is an excellent deal.

I ate at the Ritz on a Saturday night. It wasn't crowded or busy. My waiter took my order and delivered my food promptly. However, he never came back to check on the meal. I would have liked some more to drink. When I was finished, he handed me the check and walked away. I was contemplating having dessert but was not offered any. I would not recommend this restaurant.

One of the best diners in the area. Nothing fancy, but diners are not supposed to be fancy. The food is very good, not too fatty and the service is quick and efficient.

Wait wait wait, So you ordered a piecemeal collection of bagel, bacon, etc for your breakfast from the diner and got mad at the portions and costs. For delivery, no less. Do you think someone ought to be made to deliver your food with a base cost of LESS than ten bucks? Ridiculous. Some people have never worked in restaurants I guess and don't see anything past themselves. Ritz is alright. It won't shock and amaze but its basically decent diner fare with above average burgers. I order a medium cheeseburger from them about once a week. Always comes out right. Good shakes too.

The Ritz Diner makes the best hamburgers in the neighborhood, will all sorts of extra ingredients available. Tell they you want a rare burger, and that is what you you get--hard to find these days.
