    It was alright!

As soon as I walked in with my fiancee I was greeted by no one so we sat our selves to the dining room to the left to find a older gentleman ( I believe the manager) sleeping till he awoken as soon as we sat greeting us .. The waiter then came by greeting us asking us for our drink order .. we were giving the menu's and specials as soon as the waiter served our drinks .. The waiter seemed to know how to give a good service (the service was the only thing I gave a 5 because of this waiter) besides the other two waiters who were slouching over and being loud .. we than ordered a hot antipasto for 2 and than for the entrees my fiancee ordered a Veal Chop Waldostana the waiter suggested and I had the Linguini Sinatra .. the antipasto was okay .. the Waldostana the waiter suggested was as good as he promised it was he also suggested my fiancee have a glass of red with it he gave him a Cabernet which went hand in hand with the veal as my fiancee explained it on the other hand my linguini was cold so I gave it back to heat it up it could of been better and the seafood was definitely frozen for weeks so that just goes to show it doesn't sell .. than desserts came my favorite the waiter suggested again we try the Homemade Lave Cake which was outta of this world .. All in all it was alright if it hadn't been for the service we probably would never come back

    Amazing

This ristorante has the BEST food I've ever tasted, and I've been to fancy restaurants in Manhattan. Worth every penny. Waiters and host very friendly, great atmosphere. Music is loud enough to hear but not loud enough to interfere with conversaton.

The only place to hear Mandolin music

Vaccaro still has the same basic fine quality Italian food with reasonable prices. We truly enjoyed the live mandolin music. It was the closest thing to what we heard in Italy. Much nicer to have this authentic entertainment than the typical canned recorded stuff that seems to be everywhere. Nice. Glad to see a restaurant has the good sense to have this.

    best calzones ever

I'm from Brooklyn. Born n raised in Flatbush. Long story short i out cheese on everything. Obessesed. I'm a a female and like most females, they perfer chocolate. You offer em a plate of cheeses (different obviously even the "weird" kind) vs the most scrumptious chocolate imaginable, i will pick cheese every time.. i've also been to Italy. I've never been to the restaurant part of Vaccarros only the takeout/less formal area of Vaccarro. I've also traveled to other parts of Europe, South America, the Carribeean n Canada. You will never find Calzones as decadent n cheezy (OD level) as Vaccaros.

I frequent Vaccaro's quite often for their amazing pizza but i have eaten in the restaurant a few times and every time it was absolutely delectable. Its a little pricey but its well worth it!
