My husband and I were here last night, and had a really great time. Was recommended by a dear friend about the new ownership. Every item on the menu was savory, but I had to choose one only. I'll be back each time to try the other items. Wines were extensive, but the Wine Connoisseur knew exactly what we needed. Thank you. Great atmosphere, great people, and great management.

This restaurant was recommending to us so we decided to give it a try since we enjoy good a Italian cooking and wanted to try a new place. Well what a mistake the food and the service was poor. We sat down ordered a bottle of wine and was enjoying it and the waiter and bell captain kept coming over annoyed that we were not ready to order. There was no water on table we had to ask, we then ordered our meal and ask the waiter a few questions about menu and you can see he was annoyed. We order mozzarella caprice salad, Caesars salad and eggplant dish for appetizers. Mozzarella Cheese had no taste and well as the caesars salad, the eggplant dish was good but very small at $17.00. When we told the waiter about the cheese he just said thats the way it is. Our main courses came 3 of us order the special Bronzino Fish it was just grill with oregano bread crumbs on top, nothing special and one order the whole wheat pasta that was only really good dish. Finish we order one desert for the table it was okay again nothing special. The check came to $400.00 for four of us without the tip. We eat out in New York City quite a lot especially in Italian restaurants so we know quality service and food and this certainly was not. We would not recommend it or ever go back.

I went there for lunch yesterday with my department and DeGrezia has now been added to my favorites. The ambiance, the waiters in suits, the wonderful service and the delicious food all five stars! I’ve already made a reservation for dinner with my husband for tomorrow night!

We had a very intimate birthday celebration in July at DeGrezia. The food was delicious, the service was extraordinary and the owner and staff couldn't have been more fabulous to work with. We all had a wonderful, fun night. It was a special birthday and you all made it very memorable for me, my family and our friends! Great job!

I had the same experience as the reviewer below was here to celebrate an event and they brought out a cake without anyone asking. They split the small cake into many pieces and then charged us by the piece! It totaled over $100 for a tiny cake that would cost $15 at a bakery. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. The food was okay, but not great definitely not worth the price. Seriously, I've had better chicken at the diner around the corner! The guests who were not drinking were repeatedly pressured to order a drink and given sub-par service when they did not. To top it off, an extra entre that no one ordered and no one received was added to our bill I guess they thought they could just slip it in to such a large bill. Most absurd dining experience of my life. Avoid this place like the plague. The food isn't anything special and the management is nearly criminal.

The food was better than average, but for the price you pay, you can find another restaurant just as good if not better, I would not be complaining about the price if the service was good. The busboy was good. The waiter wasn't. In lieu of tap water, we were offered flat water in a bottle. We were not even offered softdrinks. We wanted a wine that was from 2003 and they brought us the bottle from 2004 telling us it was the same. We went in to celebrate a birthday. The waiter brought out an approximately 6 inch brownie cake that we did not ask for. At first we thought it was a nice gesture but when the check came, we were charged $120.45 for it because they charged per person. Picture the size of each piece when it was split into 11 pieces. We were ask do you want to share but was never told it would be charged per piece nor were we even offered a dessert menu in lieu of sharing. They probably thought we were tourists until we told them we were locals. To appeased us, they charged us $65.70 instead for the cake. I have never felt so cheated in my life.

Came in Fri Aug. 3rd. Food was great especially the veal chop but the fella singin was awesome just like some of the scenes from the "Goodfellas" movie. Will definely return. Hope they hang onto the entertainment!
