My husband , daughter , and myself found this place from this website. It was midafternoon, and we had a late lunch/early dinner there. We were pleased to see "Gluten-free" advertised in the window. Then we were thrilled to be served tasty, great-textured gluten-free breadsticks immediately. We all must follow a gf diet, and it has been years since I was able to have a beer or pizza in a restaurant. How nice of someone to make all this effort to provide food for those of us that have these restrictions. Several yummy desserts, and they make their breadsticks and dough and pizza crust and bread available for takeout. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we had such a good time, that my husband insisted on buying me their T-Shirt! We spent a little more than others normally would for this type of place, but it was well worth it. We hope this will be a regular stop when we visit our daughter in NY.

It is the most wonderful feeling to be able to go to a restaurant and eat gluten free food without having to explain your needs. Even more important is PIZZA a treat that I never can get anywhere, and it is soooooo good! Everytime I come to NY I visit this treasure and I tell all my GF friends and relatives they need to visit. Thank you.

I found this restaurant throught the Gluten-fee awareness program. It's a small place in the west village. The staff was super nice and friendly. My date and I both had panini. They were light and fluffy and very impressive for gluten-free baked goods. We would totally go back.

The focus on Risotto and Pizza means that they have mastered it! I have dined there with my fiance 2x already and we stil love it-I'm gluten free and hes not and we both eat like kings for a modest price. The gluten free breadsticks are great and the pizza is nice and crispy. No where else in the city can you find such a choice of Risotto! Come hungry and save room for the Fudgie its a chocolate explosion. The only downside is that it is very small and the tables are v. close together...but for me, it is definitely worth the wait!

I had high expectations for this place, but it came up a little short. Risotto like all Italian food is about balance. Not only should the flavors be intense, but the texture should be creamy and the rice should be al dente. After coming back from Italy this is what I would expect from all the Italian food I eat now. Unfortunately, although the flavors are spectacular here, the texture of the rice is overcooked with no al dente-ness to it. With that being said, this is a great place for a cheap date with a great variety of flavors and rice. A unique place that could have succeeded with better execution...

I've eaten here a number of times, and though the food is consistently good (the risotto's are delicious, as well as the pesto pizzas and panini) the service is consistently subpar. The waiters can be rude and generally mess up atleast part of your order. Another downside is the lack of space, so chances are you'll have to wait for a seat.

While dining here, I felt excited when the waiter referred to gluten free dining as the "norm" when ordering. Though very cramped, this restaurant was great! I was able to try my first gluten free beer, have a cheese platter, and have pizza! I was disappointed to find that they didn't offer me gluten free bread with the cheese like the other people in my party recieved. But I did get offered a free dessert for them accidently making me a non gluten free pizza (don't worry it never reached me, they told me about the mistake). I tried the Fudgie, which our waiter assured us was sweeping the nation. It was fantastic! I would say this, it's kind of over priced, but if you're going to NYC and you only do it once, might as well eat well!
