Love this place! I'm usually afraid to order dumplings because you never know what is actually in them but this place uses top notch ingredients and you can taste the difference. Love the soups too. The chocolate dumplings are to die for, but as another reviewer mentioned, very messy, usually ends up all over my face and me.

What a great idea. The menu is easy to choose from. The food is fresh, and tastes great. It is really that easy to sum up.

First time trying this neighborhood restaurant, I was disappointed after reading all the great reviews here on Menu Pages. There was a long narrow single line with no accommodations for a disabled person to sit for about 10 minutes total. I asked for 9 dumplings but was served only 6. I had to remind the server (who assured me there were indeed 9 dumplings in my soup) to bag it for take-out. By the time I got the food back home (about 10 minutes later), the noodles in the soup had all stuck together in one large unattractive lumpy clump. On the other hand, I was delighted by the perfect blend of flavors and generally very good quality of the dumplings themselves as well as the soup. But those smushy noodles were a disaster. Overpriced considering everything, but hey, it's Chelsea!

New York magazine just gave the chocolate soup dumpling balls the "#10 most delicious chocolate dessert in NYC" award. Since all the other places require ties, this is probably the easiest and cheapest way to indulge yourself. But be carefulL. We're talking scalding hot jets of chocolate pumping out of the holes made by your incisors. It's dangerous chocolate. In terms of savory dumplings, I like to do a mix of porks and ducks. (I know that sounds dangerous, too.) The guys who manage the place are friendly (even though one of them hates the shrimp dumplings and longs for you to write in comments validating his taste buds). It's clean, well-lit, fast and I think pretty healthy. Except I'm not kidding about the danger balls: get them but watch out. I don't think you can actually order the chef or the manager, but I'm sure they'd be tasty, too.

Quick Service, Good Quality Food Great Price. I tried the shrimp dumplings, they were delicious as well as the dipping sauce. The soup was tasty, and of course the choclate dumplings were a delight. when you get to the center is a gush of hot choclate

I work in the neighborhood and i've passed this place by many times. Today my curiosity got the better of me and i went in. The service was quick and the food was great! My only wish is that the dumplings would have stayed hot a little longer as i ate the salad first. Next time i think i'll try the soup, and i cannot wait to get the chocolate soup dumplings - i hear they are fantastic!

What a find! Leave it to Martha Stewart to introduce this place! Fried or Steamed the freshness and quality screams! The dinner plates with salad or soup are a great value - and the Chocolate dessert dumplings are bizarre and wonderful (you get 3 - better share them- they are very rich). The decor is very Chipotle-ish - clean stainless and modern. Wish I could have a beer with dinner!
