  • Rickshaw Dumpling Bar

It was just eh.. nothing special

I just finished my order of szechuan chicken dumplings and wasn't impressed. The dipping sauce was spicy and tasty. The dumplings would not have tasted too great without the dipping sauce. It's pretty damn expensive for just a few dumplings though. If it were more reasonably priced, I'd give them another chance and try a different dumpling.

    plain and simple

if you're looking for a dining experience this is not your place - just simple plain dumplings and don't ask for any special combinations or mix of dumplings - you get what they got on the list - that's it. The duck dumplings were OK but the dipping sauce was a little weak - miso soup was pretty bland. Not a place that I plan to frequent.

    a regular favorite

Delicious, inventive dumplings, and healthy to boot. Not to mention service with a smile, and one of the best inventions in town: chocolate dumplings.

    Gone downhill fast

I used to really enjoy Rickshaw. It was a great place for a quick, light meal. Since then, the once-tasty dumplings have been replaced with smaller, drier ones. They have gone from getting my order right 95% of the time, to getting it right about 40% of the time. This is a BIG drawback in a place you get takeout; now I have to open the container, speeding the cooling of my already-lukewarm dumplings, to make sure they got it right. Also, lately when I order the salad with peanut dressing, they give me a container of "dressing" that is far too thick to be used as dressing. It won't even come out of the container, let alone lightly coat the greens. With great disappointment and after second, third, fourth and fifth chances, I've had to stop eating at this place.

    Honestly, simply amazing

I just came back from my first visit to the Rickshaw truck. Though I'm in serious food a coma, it was SO worth it! The service was really fast, despit a long line. And, most importantly, the dumplings were a-mazing! I had the pork and the chicken and basil. Highly recommend!

    No all that

The food was ok, They got my order wrong twice so I just kept it as is. The dumplings were tasty but sticky and dry, so if they had been freshher than I would have liked them better. I did eat all of them though. Soup was good, and sesame noodles good, but its too fast foodie to be really great I guess. Would i go back? Yeah, maybe
