Dumplings were fantastic. I had the Peking Duck (very good) but I thought the Pork was even better. The place is not meant to be a place to sit down for a long lunch or dinner. If you want a good-tasting, quick, and a substantial meal, then this is a place you'll want to try.

The food is served fast, hot and delicious. Can't wait to go back. If you have a chance to eat there you will go back.

Overpriced and nothing special. There's far better Chinese, Thai and Japanese to be found in neighboring Chelsea. Also, the interior setup is less than optimal, with a chaotic interior layout.

The brain child of Anita Lo and Kenny Lao is pure genious. The dumplings are inventive, exciting, and delicious. The atmosphere is totally chill. I say it's the perfect place for a quick lunch or an afternoon snack. Don't forget to try the chocolate dumplings - they are truely heaven!

Rickshaw is still working out a few kinks, but once you get beyond that, the food is incredible. The dumplings are good alone or in the yummy varied soups. Green tea milkshake is fabulous (reminds me of a frozen macha from Tealuxe in boston) and the chocolate dumplings are the oddest dessert in town, but good too. The place is small, modern, and not full of frills - a good place for a quick and not expensive fix! I wish they had soy milk though for the shake...

The dumplings at Rickshaw are great. The chef Anita Lo (from Annisa) has paired them with really tasty soups. My fave was the Chicken Dumpling in the Peanut Satay soup. Though I really liked my girlfriend's Duck Dumplings in Shiitake Mushroom soup. It had cinnamon and star anise in it. I'm not sure what star anise is... but it tasted really great. Give them a try, but call first to check on the line. It was out the door at noon today!
They're still working out a few bugs, they just opened on Feb. 17, but the dumplings are outstanding. Very fresh and the sauces compliment them beautifully. And the Japanese pepper salt that accompanies the edamame is to die for.
