    Yummy Yuka

Very nice food. The chicken with okra was excellent ! .. Meat fell right off the bone.. and the Bobo Camarona in yucca puree made my taste buds very happy. The vegetables were FRESH! great collard greens (served shredded). The place was a little cramped but the food was worth it. Try the hot sauce!!

Great meat, great veggies, great service

I was vegtable deprived after coming back from a trip to Mexico and the Collard Greens at Rice and Beans were exactly what I needed. I don't know how they actually make this bitter vegtable taste good, but they do somehow. All of the vegtables were excellent, the black beans were delicious and the pork my husband got was the most tender I've ever tasted. A little bit of a splurge for us, but worth every penny. The service was also great, they made sure our water glasses were always full, which is often hard to come by in a crowded Manhattan restaurant.

    Disappointing

We heard it was a fantastic and cheap place for Feijoada and decided to go, but the beans were blend and food was expensive. I dont know about other meals, but Feijoada isn't good.

    Very nice dinner

The food was excellent. the service was very very friendly; had a little trouble getting our oder right-but they tried. the place is a little too small to be comfortable. but i would go back in a heartbeat.

    Great place for lunch

It was delicious! Plenty of food for only $8. Waitress was very nice, but the place is a bit small. Tables are close together, but food was great. Will go back!

    Great little spot

Great green soup. Pleasant and and rapid service. Food was absolutely delicious. Great little find tucked away on the west side. Eat there - you will not be disappointed.

    Disappointed

Although the service was good (how could it not be in such a tiny space) and the staff was friendly, I was really disappointed by the food. It came out luke warm and didn't have much flavor. I love all rice and beans, from any country, and was not impressed. There are many other places that you can get a satisfying meal.
