solid food, lackluster service
I've been to Rice several times now. Each time I or dinner companion has ordered the same thing - the chicken kebab. The chicken is marinated in tomato and Rosemary and comes out delicious and moist. Definitely worth having. The couple of other things that I've had were just okay, but not bad. The drinks were fine, and everything is reasonably priced. My only complaint about the place is that the service can be slow and inattentive, particularly when it comes to getting seated.

Not Worth Your Money!
The foods come in small proportions and they are all overpriced! The service was great but the food was not.

My 6mo old delivers quicker
What an awful experience. Food is mediocre, maybe fair at times. Pad Thai - a blob of noodles. The service staff on the phone - my infant has a better way with people. And she would deliver quicker if given the job.

Want to like it...
I really want to like this place because I am obsessed with rice, but after several tries I am giving up. Aside from the grilled corn and mozzarepa appetizers, the food is really mediocre. And for being called Rice, their rices are dry and overcooked. On top of that, their atmosphere is not great, though it gets better in the summer when the deck is open. Last night was definitely my last attempt - I ordered delivery and the food showed up 2 hours later (I live one block away). They lied to us and said it was on the way, then half an hour later said it had never gone out and had to be re-made on account of being cold. All in all, a great idea for a restaurant but poor execution. I won't be back.

rice was pretty good.
myself and three adults eat at rice. the total bill came to about $60 bucks minus tip. we had three entrees and a carafe of their house. i thought the food was good. just enough and not to filling. the atmosphere was good. out side seating plus i was informed they are building an outside bar which will be ready in a week. i would like to attend the place again.

the price you paid is not worthwile
Just tried out the Vietnamese Chicken Lemongrass salad. It was charged $5 for salad itself and $1 extra for brown rice. I was so surprised to see my order! They put everything in that SMALL rice container and charged me for $6?! That's rediculous expensive and the food quality is way too simple to pay for that kind of price. Trust me! I'm an Asian and I know Asian food very well. They called their food as Asian Fusion? (shake my head) You better try somewhere else for nicer quality.

Lacks identity and overall not worthwhile
When I moved to the area, I was excited to have a trendy fusion asian themed option nearby. In a word, disappointing. Away from the heaping mounds of truly uninteresting rice, there was really nothing to add any memorable dimension to the meal. I know the restaurant's focus by its namesake, but one cannot live on rice alone! Please start serving real food along side rice, which is just the "bread" of our meals.
