Ordinary food in a lovely setting. $35 prix fixe is a good value. Wine is overpriced. Deafeningly noisy after 7:30.

We came here with for a little dinner party and loved it! Perfect place when the weather is nice. Food was great and they were very attentive - beautiful garden area. Charming.

I'm not going to make this colorful and pretty. Just straight to the point. -excruciatingly slow service I could have grown/killed/cooked/served my own meal 5 times - the food is just not that good.. sorry.. - the waiter spilled a glass of wine all over me (fell off her tray, thanks, I worked in the service industry and never ones spilled anything on anyone) -the hostess was snobby - you wouldn't be able to drive me there with a stick or pay me to go here again.

It's the meatpacking district, trendy and expensive, and yet this place is not quite as expensive as the general rating might suggest. They have a nice full bar at the entrance, and a really unusual covered patio. Oh, the food is good too...

Go for the drinks and atmosphere...the food is not good and the service is even worse. The tomato-mozzarella salad was the only thing edible.

I had dinner at Revel last weekend and couldn't have been happier with our experience. From the host at the door, to the service staff and management, everyone that dealt with us were fantastic. Food was good, garden gorgeous and the place was alive with the crowd at the bar. As the night darkened, the candles lit up the space and with a bottle of champagne on ice, our night was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu may be a bit pricey but for that kind of space in the Meat Packing District , it is more than fair. My two cents - ignore the negative reviews here cause we had a blast. Try it for yourself.
