Very disappointing
After reading a lot of good reviews I decided to satisfy my craving for sushi today and ordered a selection from Seo. I also ordered their udon, which is supposed to be exceptional. Maybe I caught them on an off night or something, because nothing I ate here was particularly good. The whole dinner was forgettable and the sushi did not taste fresh at all. The wrapper actually smelled like mold and the fish was warm and slightly mushy. The udon noodles tasted like plain spaghetti in broth and it could've been store bought, because there was nothing special about it at all. The broth was so-so. I threw half of it out. If this were a cheap place, I'd have thought, "Well, you get what you pay for". Unfortunately, that's not the case here.

Best value for midtown japanese
I have no idea what the person below is talking about. Seo is hands down the best quality to value ratio in midtown. Their fish is pristine. Their soba is toothsome and delicious. And their udon is by far the best I have had. I eat Japanese food probably 3 - 5 times a week and Seo is one of my new staples.

Never again
SEO restaurant is very disappointing. Their food was not that good - over priced and outrageous prices.

Special Ramen on Weeknights from 11pm-2.30am!
If you crave for a piping hot bowl of ramen in the wee hours of the morning, give SEO a try and you won't be disappointed! We were there at 11:40pm and by midnight, the restaurant was full of happy Japanese diners! It gets better with an extra side of pork and a can of beer! We'd be back for lunch next time :)

overpriced, poor quality fish
would not reccomend this restaurant. tempura was soggy, the sushi left a bad taste in my mouth - the fish was poor quality and the service was below par. not much else to say. just another over-priced NYC ripoff.
