This bar turned off the Mets (against the Phillies who are trailing Mets' division lead by only one game) for the MTV video music awards. But it wasn't even the award ceremonythis bar switched channels to the red carpet fashion show that precedes the actual awards. The chalk board outside of the bar advertised the Mets gamenot pre-teen shows like MTV. Children/Teen programming should be watched at home where children and teens are welcomenot in adult-only venues like a sports bar advertising baseball.

The staff has attitude! After waiting for over 10 minutes at the bar, my friend approached the waitress and was told to just wait. When she attempted to tap the hostess on the shoulder to get attention, the hostess turned around and called her obnoxious! I was shocked...what kind of service is this!

Co-workers and I came across this bar whilst looking for something new. We have been going back ever since. The food is excellent and they have very good portions for the price. They have an excellent [select]ion of beer and the service is great! We go there as often as possible.

I went to Reservioir alot when I was a student at NYU and was not asked for ID to drink once. I returned a few years after graduation (now 24) and the waitress asked us all to show ID. I presented her with the only ID I have that happens to be a foreign ID card with my picture and birthday on it. She refused to serve me drinks. Upset at this discrimination I went to the bar and ordered a drink for myself. The bartender served me without asking for ID. The waitress then treated me like *** for the rest of the night. I asked her for a glass of water twice. She brought drinks for everyone and our food before she brought me my water. The wings and waffle fries have always been good. And the drinks are cheap if you can get served!

Although I've passed Reservoir hundreds of times, I never went until a few days ago. I will definitely be going back. There was a good selection of beer, and the nachos and waffle fries were fantastic. Our table devoured them within minutes. It's a bit dark inside, but the staff is friendly.

Reservoir is a small bar on University Place. They have great bar food. Great wings, great salads, great burgers. Atmosphere is a little lacking, but it's a great place to get some consistently good bar food.

The waffle fries here are one of the best-kept cheap eats secrets in the city--two bucks for a huge basket that'll feed two people. Try them with mustard. Pints of good beer on tap have stayed reasonable for the last six years, too. Friendly, efficient waitresses. Good jukebox.
