There food is great, but they also happen to have the world's best coleslaw! Have it!

This 24 hour restaurant is bigger than it looks on first glance. There are three rooms: the front with typical booths and counter, the middle room with tables, fireplace and enormous skylight, and the back room which is actually an outdoor "garden" with a removeable ceiling for nice weather. The service depends greatly on the mood of the staff, who are generally friendly if somewhat unprofessional and moody. On the other hand they will do their best to accomodate "special orders" and don't seem to mind if patrons linger over coffee. The food, too, varies in quality. For example, the "pan omelettes" are prepared in an omelette pan on the weekends (if you're lucky) and on the greasy grill the rest of the time. Mostly, though, the food is fresh and, if not inspired (it *is* a diner), is at least hearty. Portions are typically large. As is typical with many diners, they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner items at any time of the day, from a huge menu with almost too many choices. This is definitely a neighborhood place with lots of diverse regulars of all ages. It can be quite noisy at times. Things settle down in the evenings, and the diner seems to undergo frequent attempts at improving the atmosphere, including the occasional renovation. At night the back rooms have dimmed lighting and for awhile even boasted live, unobtrusive music.

I lived in HK for over 3 years and I remember to have spent about $3000 last years, in a twelve month period, eating there. Michael is the best one there; try to "understand" the morning waiters since they don't give repeat customers any value, however, this does not make the atmosphere bad at all; nor the overall customer service that is being offered .

Best lasagna I've ever had and their burgers are awesome too. You have to have the sweet potato french fries...delectable. Nice atmosphere with a fireplace in the backroom.

I love the food, service is fine and quick, and the prices are reeeeally right. You may have to turn your head for another drink but that's it! Oh, they have the BEST buffalo wings, hands down. The wings even deliver perfectly, but the drinks do NOT because the place uses cups with lids...that obviously pop off and soak everything while in transit.

Decent food (for a diner), delivered by the kitchen staff pretty quickly after ordered. However, much difficulty in getting the wait staff attention for the initial order, any additional items you wish to purchase and for the check when you are done. I've been there maybe half a dozen times over the past few months and consistently am ignored after the meal is done and I'm sitting there waiting to get a check to pay. I still go there, but either am prepared to spend additional time hanging out waiting to be waited on, or make a very pro-active effort to be served (not a formula for oversized tips).

I had rack of lamb on the special and it was really good. The bartender makes awesome martinis, Prices are reasonable for the area (you get a lot of food). Good place to dine on your own or with friends.
