We had been eating at our sixth avenue hotel, paying the room price in meals for three days when we stumbled on this. The food was real, the people were real. Our digestions returned to normal. I had fish and broccoli fresh and yummy, my partner had a steak and green beans equally fresh and yummy. A bargain for the price and real New Yorkers demand fresh no matter what so doing what the natives do came naturally. Maybe because so many actors live and work in this neighborhood the nutrition content was on a par with the calorie content. A favorite of mine from now on.

I have been going there for years. Food quality has declined a bit while prices went up. The service is poor, waiters never get the instructions right: order you burger medium or well done, it will come overcooked and dry no matter what.

The Mexican salad is delicious! Really great chicken and the avocado is always fresh! I do not recommend the Philly Cheese Steak on the other hand. It wasn't poor, just not that great. Awesome milkshakes!! I've eaten in the restaurant several times and also had the food delivered. Delivery is quick and packaged well.

I have been coming here for years and still to this day I love it! I have never ordered a dish that I can say was not excellent! Great food, wait staff (hard working and polite), and a value for the buck! Breakfast is fast and delicious too!!

The Renn is a kick ass place for late night drunk food, I'm sorry but it's true. I'm not sorry actually. As a 24-hour diner they cater to their clientele and are very tolerant and awesome in their customer policies. I left my iPhone there on accident and two days later the waiter stopped me and presented my phone back to me!! I was so thrilled I gave him some $$, it was December and those late night guys work hard. (I am a late-night frequent customer). They know me when I call and offer my favorites without asking (extra saltines). As a neighborhood diner this place is awesome and I fully recommend. Good pasta & soups too fyi.

I have lived in the neighborhood 15 years and have pretty much gone to and ordered from Renaissance from the beginning. it has always stood out as having the best food and variety of the local diners (eg Westway, Galaxy) and was comparable in price if slightly more expensive. And the food is still better, which is why i still order from them against my better judgment. The service was never very good to begin with, but it has declined to a point where it is nonexistent. I have not placed one order out of the last FIVE that came to me without error. There is no difference whether you order online or on the phone (they are no longer on delivery.com, btw)- it comes back with something wrong. And if you call you can expect to be kept on hold or dropped before the order is even placed. The restaurant itstel is practically a ghost town during the day, but it doesn't seem to maeke the staff any more available than during a rush. Very sad.

I have been ordering here for years, at least 4 times a week.. today I ordered and everything was way more expensive and the quality was poor. I ordered from here just last week and a 5 dollar jump in pricing in one week in insane! Please understand that you have loyal customers that recomend you to people all the time! Never again will I order or recomend you...
