This place is total junk. Had a terrible meal here. Turkey sandwich as plain as can be - stale bread, skimpy portion. Service was terribly slow. Would stay far away from this place.

We were very excited to have a diner in the LES, only to find out that sandwiches can't have pickles because they didn't have any, and that to deliver (2 blocks away) 2 soups and 1 salad it takes more than 1hr and 15 minutes! After 50 minutes we called and they said that the order wasn't ready yet... How is that possible? Don't recommend it... I'm still looking for a good diner in the area...

just what the hood needed: a real diner! for the toddler set, there's nothing better than remedy. spacious booths, doting staff, quick simple food (stick to ordering eggs and chicken fingers)and when it's all over, you go play on the abc playground across the street.

Finally! A place that you can meet people to talk over work, projects, etc.etc. . .where you don't get rushed, there is always a booth, and there is a little bit of everything on the menu! A diner! We needed one in this neighborhood. The guys who work there are super sweet, and although the food isn't AMAZING, it is pretty darn good. Grilled cheese is perfect soups are great, and the chicken pot pie is yummy. Listen, if you want a high-class taco or a 12 dollar tapas, there are plenty of places int his neighboorhood for this. But if you want to go hang out and chat a la Seinfeld with your pals, have a milkshake and a turkey club this is your spot. OH and they will deliver even if you only order and egg and cheese sandwhich. . . now THAT's what I am taling about!!

I'm from Jersey, so I know diners. This one is decent. Good atmosphere. The food was pretty good. The menu was full and diner typical. Its perfect for after a big night out. And it delivers, fantastic! My one grip is the service. Everyone is nice enough, but there tends to be a lot of mistakes. Try to remember that this place is real new as of this review, and it will take a few more months for them to work out the kinks. Its got definite LES institution potential once it gets its act together.

I love diners and this is not one that I would recommend to anyone. The food was just not good. It lacked flavor. Plus it was pretty pricey. We had to wait forever for things we asked the waitress for. The atmosphere was cool, art deco inspired. Too bad the food wasn't as good as the decor.

Yes the lower east side needs a 24 hour diner of some sort in the neighborhood, but Remedy is not the answer. At first I was excited to find a quick easy diner in the hood. But after going there I realize it is more of a headache than a solution. First of all the wait for brunch is ridiculous with no sort of organization, people stand in the front of the door and just stare at the other patrons while waiting. There is only one person at the counter handling the payments and the seating which was too much for her to handle. Some of the waitstaff do not know english that well and you have to repeat your order so many times or make it crystal clear. We waited 15 minutes just to get coffee. On another late nite visit, (not sure why I went back but it was the only 24 hr resource) I ordered a burger only to find a piece of meat on top of a cold bun. no lettuce, no tomato no french fries, nothing. My friend ordered pasta which was dry no flavor or anything. I don't know if the staff was trying to take advantage of us thinking we were drunk, which we were not, but everything was subpar.
