I order from here all the time for some strange reason, usually because other choices are closed. The food is o.k., but they always screw up something in my order. This is written in attempt to affect the management. I'll probably order from them again in the future but i'll be crossing my fingers.

I think I beat you by about 3 hours. We ate at the Remedy Diner before a show at The Stone venue nearby and was also VERY impressed. The specials bordered on fine cuisine and the food was surprisingly well cooked and presented. My wife has the salas which she loved, however I had the soup which was acceptable. We ordered one of the special entree's and it was excellent. Service was very good and the prices for what we got was fabulous. We went there the following evening as well as a different show was playing and we decided to go. It was equally as good as I ordered the BBQ rips special and they were hot and falling off the bone. The sauce was excellent and the ribs weren't dripping in it which is what many restaurants do to hide the meat. Coming from TX, we like our BBQ and this was quite passable as good (not great) Texas fare.

My friends and I randomly wandered into this diner last night because it was the only place open on the LES at 10:30 on Christmas night. I had coincidentally read some of the reviews earlier in the day and so I had low expectations, but this place was really good. Usually people who review might have gone on an Off Night and received poor service or food so perhaps we were lucky enough to go on an On Night. The prices are low compared to most places in the city, and the portion size was tremendous and the food stellar. The side salad that came with my meal even looked elegant which I was certainly not expecting. Our waiter was attentive and it was an all around great experience. I would def go back often if I didn't live on the UWS. I am generally a tough critic but I have to give a lot of credit to Remedy, good job guys!

The line at Clinton Street Baking Company was too long,so I decided to try the Remedy Diner. Big mistake. It's a fairly large placebut it was less that half full. On a Saturday morning no less. Given that, it took more than 15min to get service and when I asked the waitress for tea, I was given a PLASTIC spoon. What is this?! When I received my order,no cutlery or napkins were provided. The waitress dumped my order and quickly moved away.never botheing to check to see if I needed anything else. The busboy was more helpful and he even asked if I needed anything. After a few bites of my omelette, which was fine I asked the busboy for the check. Said waitress scurried over with overly effusive Christmas salutations and fake gratitude. I left a 20% tip,but it was'nt for her. I hope the busboy knocks her to the ground and takes it all.

Took me a while to find my breakfast place in the neighborhood, but this is it. Things can be inconsistant but the home fries are the great, The coffee is the only I have found that is not bitter or burnt though the cups were much larger when they first opened. Take the criticism below with a grain of salt , there is a huge hungover crowd on weekend afternoons.

they can be a little inconsistent, but on weekdays at night they're usually really good. i love the turkey dinner, the guy that takes orders is super cool and hooked me up with stuffing and cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes with gravy too. i've had the burger which was good one time, and horrible the next. overall a nice diner solution for the area.

Food subpar. Manager not professional. Not a real diner. Cannot handle a breakfast rush. Food comes at different times. Wrong toast given. Dirty plates. Basically, this place should not be around. Shining light is the busboy with his coffee filling. That happens at all diners. Give the busboy his own diner.
