For a diner, their menu is quite small. That is a good thing because it is not as overwhelming. Their salads are large, use very fresh and good quality ingredients. They know how to cook their eggs and their corned beef hash is delightful, if you're into that stuff! The coffee is also very strong and the waiters are attentive and friendly. It is a great place to practice your Spanish too. I'm impressed and would recommend both vegetarians and health conscious alike.

Hey so recently I have been ordering breakfast from Remedy 1 to 2 times a week. Pretty much get the same order scrambled eggs with cheese, cheese scrambled into the eggs not a slab on top which I hate and pancakes or french toast. They always do it no problem. Today I call and the guy on the phone refuses to let me have the cheese scrambled into my scrambled eggs, said "no we don't do that we put it on top" and I was like "you can't just scramble it in when you are scrambling it oringally" and on and on...point is he wouldn't do it so over something so small they just lost a regular customer not so much because of the cheese but how rude the guy was coupled with the fact the food isn't that good anways.

I frequent Remedy often with my friends. We adore this place, the portions are generous, the food is delicious and it is cheap as chip. Im a deluxe burger man myself, but I cant wait to get through the menu. I am ordering take out tonight so I will make note of the delivery tomorrow! Hot.

I've defected from another place b/ c this place is so good. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Maybe overly critical picky eaters? Maybe people from competing diners? On my last visit for $7.95 I had the biggest tastiest tuna melt with fries, which are some of the best fries around. My friend who is crazy about burgers, goes here three times/week and loves it. Okay so this sucks: They won't deliver from Houston to 11th street and A for an $8 order. That's kinda dumb if you ask me.

i really want this place to be better because it is so close and i like the environmet. been back numerous times for lack of other options close by, and i am always disappointed. management/staff is friendly, the place is clean but the food is really poor. pretty hard to mess up eggs or a burger, but they somehow manage to pull that off time after time. been here more than 10 times, the place is always empty... i wish they would get an experienced cook, focus on the basics and stop trying to offer "fancy" food (it is bland, w/no flavor).

i live in the area and have been here i think 5 times (after the first two times, i returned for lack of a better option and because it's usually inexpensive). Each time I go, the food is subpar. The best bet is to stick with the staples, like eggs and standard soups. The lasagna was awful, i actually think there was nutmeg in it (you're right, why did i order that at a diner). The turkey meatloaf is dry, but not great and the grilled cheese was cold when it arrived at the table. I would appreciate this diner to improve the food quality and speed of service because it's so close. Anyway, I'll stay away as long as possible.
