Our server was very attentive. The food was good for diner food, decent prices, hot and worth the visit. What surprised me was when we were given refills on coffees and had not gotten to them as we were busy eating, the waiter came and offered a fresh cup, brought new cups and brought a new pot for us. Unheard of for most les restaurants let alone at a diner. He definitely went out of his way and I enjoyed the place.

the les has been in need of a late night diner, this one doesn't have very good food or service, but i will go anyway, because you don't really go to a diner for good food and service, do you?

i was so excited that a diner was finally in my neighborhood but i was so disappointed with them. the old school diner vibe is great , unfortunately, i've been there twice and have had horrible experiences. the first time they got my order wrong but i was okay with that b/c they are new. what they sent me was inedible. the second time i figured i'd go for something simple ... chicken fingers ... but i couldnt eat them because they were so overcooked. i'm not high maintenance but this place needs some serious time to get their act together before i go again.

I went to the Remedy a week ago and was thouroghly unimpressed. The diner itself has a nice old school appeal but the food and service were pretty terrible. Most of the food was cold, and it was always a struggle to get the attention of our waitress.

I have had my eye on the Remedy for a while.. walking into this place i felt as though i was on the UES. its beautiful inside! My husband and I loved our dinner (I would reccomend the seafood paella). This is defintely a place where you get more for your money including great atmosphere!

Don't let the attractive, art deco-inspired interior fool you. This is quite possibly the worst-managed diner I've ever experienced. It appeared as if the servers and busboys had no clue what their roles were, and the manager stood there poorly and openly delegating duties. I could clearly hear the Benny Hill music in my head. After waiting 20 minutes for service in a mostly empty diner, we ordered. My girlfriend got a grilled cheese and fries, which were okay--pretty much what you'd expect from ANY commercial diner. My roast turkey, however, was a completely different story. The chef had no clue how to carve turkey meat, so it came out in thick and awkward chunks. The gravy was an odd orange color, but surprisingly, had no taste whatsoever. It was purely water and starch. The mashed potatoes were bland and chunky, and the stuffing was horrendous. It was completely wet and comprised mainly of bloated raisins. I had two bites of the entire meal and had the "leftovers" packed up out of formality and to possibly give to someone on the street. However, I subconsciously left the doggy bag behind, only to have it promptly returned to me near the exit by the waiter. Ummm... thanks?

I've eaten here twice and Remedy is exactly what it should be. It's a diner, pure and simple, with quick turnaround, speedy service that doesn't interact deeply with customers and food that is just fine. I had a turkey burger that was juicy and served with plenty of fries and even a few onion rings- genius! Who needs a ton of onion rings? My only lament is that the breakfast and afternoon/night menu are separate. I like the option to have linguini or wings for breakfast even if I dont take it. Thanks Remedy, for giving me another under ten dollar option (not for all meals) in my pricey neighborhood.
