Great Neighborhood Diner
Consistently excellent food with very generous portions. The most low-key, drama-free and enjoyable place to eat in the Lower East Side.

Great customer service.
I saw on this website that a reviewer liked the Southwestern salad. I had it delivered, because I wanted to try it. Unfortunately, by the time it arrived, the other ingredients made the corn chip strips soggy, instead of crunchy. Soggy corn chips are gross. I think that salad probably tastes much better in the restaurant, fresh from the kitchen. When I said this to Remedy's manager, in passing, while ordering a different salad (Cobb w/ chicken) the following day, he was nice enough to package the chicken separately from the rest of the salad, so the hot chicken wouldn't make the leafy greens mushy in transit. The salad was so large, I ate some of it for dinner, and the rest for lunch the next day. I like remedy diner. I will keep ordering from there. It's open 24hrs, which is great also.

Great salads!
LES has a number of great restaurants, but if you're looking for a nice big salad with lots of veggies and nice protein, Remedy is the way to go. I love the Southwestern salad with black beans and tortilla strips and all the dressings are house made. Other cafes have overpriced salads that are leafy afterthoughts with too much goat cheese. Remedy is the cure for that.

Great Shake!
I haven't had a milkshake since I was 16, the black and white shake at remedy diner rocked my world. Great with a grilled cheese.

Solid neighborhood diner and it's 24 hours
Always open and the food is pretty consistent. The Greek salad is great. Brunch pre-fix is 14 bucks.

Best diner in NYC
My wife and I eat at a lot of diners. This place is the best. It is now the standard that we judge other diners by.

Over priced and careless
Ordered chicken quasadia's, instead of the sour cream I requested they gave me salad dressing. This happens about 50% of the time I order such foods. I continue to order from here because they're the only 24 hour food delivery in the LES area but if you have a choice I recommend elsewhere.
