Expecting quick service since the place only had 2 other customers (should have been my first clue, but I was hungry and craving thai food), my meal took 45 minutes to come to the table. The food was not hot and the rice was dark brown (I ordered jasmine rice), and in a solid, hard ball. My 2 year old who loves rice, wouldn't eat it! I asked the waiter 2 times if this was the way they served rice and he said yes. I told him that jasmine rice should be white and fluffy and not brown and solid. When the check came, they had the nerve to charge me $2 for the rice that wasn't touched. I told them to take it off the bill. As I left the restaurant, the manager chased me outside the confonted me about the rice. I told him it was the most disgusting rice I had ever seen (ps I am asian) and told him I would never return to his restaurant. Then he had the audacity to tell me not to return to his restaurant after I made my statement. My recommendation is never support poor food and even worse service.

I went here for a quick takeout lunch. After waiting 30 minutes at a counter strewn with old orange juice containers, etc... and watching the waiter read postcards and rearrange menus... I was given my 11 dollar lunch. The lunch consisted of soup and 4 dumplings. The soup: not your usual tom kah gai--instead this was like drinking a can of coconut milk with a stray canned mushroom thrown in. And the dumplings! Soggy and cold (and this is after I stood waiting for 30 minutes). Forget this restaurant if you want good Thai food and a pleasant environment.

Stick to the appetizers...or pizza...
I just dined there last weekend, and unfortunately did not enjoy the food much. The appetizers were very good. I had the combo appletizer and gave a good idea of all the appetizers offered. Then I had the Boxed lunch special with salad, soup, more apps, and a chicken entree (THE Worst thing I have ever had!!!!). I was with my friend, whom decided to get the same thing and did not sit with him either. There was too much flavoring of different spices/herbs. It literally reminded me of the Bronx Zoo... So make sure you dont try the red curry chicken that they offer.

Great food, slow service
I have been here several times, and the food is always consistently good. The flavors are very well-balanced and delicately put together. The service, while not horrid, is somewhat scant. And if you plan on dining here, be prepared for a test in patience, because it may be a while before you get your food. Good food takes time to prepare. The decor and atmostphere are very simple and unpretentious and make this an overall laid-back dining experience.
