Regional Thai Taste

I eat here a couple times a month, I've found that some of their dishes are subpar and some of them are excellent. I usually split an order of beggars pouches and get an order of the cold noodles with mango/shrimp and scallops. Their salads are a great meal too.

I recently spent 8 days in Chelsea on business and ate at Regional Thai 3 times. The service was always polite and attentive. If you go there for lunch I highly recommend the Tropical Mango Noodles. They will warn you that the noodles are cold, but don't let that deter you. It's a fabulous combination of grilled shrimp, scallops and mango with a couple of tasty sauces.

Had the Thai Dim Sum - ok, Dinner salad with great spicy peanut dressing, chicken satays - fair. Nice atmosphere- busy and not enough help to wait on everyone during busy time. Waited a long time for the check.

I love this place. I have always had a wonderful time here whether eating out with my friends or family. The food is affordable and delicious, and the atmosphere is eclectic and cozy. I have found the service to be somewhat slow, so you should plan for at least an hour, sometimes longer, for the whole meal. But it's a nice place to relax and enjoy good food with good conversation.

I had dinner their last nite (my date suggested it) and it was good food - Absolutely no complaints! I had "pa-kee-mao" and no I am no expert but I did enjoy the food very much. The only issue I had was that the waiter forgot my drink, so I reminded him and he brought it right over. The service was fast and the waiter pleasent. Definitely try it out for yourself.

I just dined at regional thai for dinner yesterday and I was very impressed. The food was delicious (although I do not claim to be an thai food expert, i have had it only a few times before). My boyfriend loves thai food, eats it often and agreed that it was delicious. I ordered the curry noodles with chicken and he had the pad thai. There are a lot of complaints about slow and crummy service below but I did not experience this at all. The food was not super fast but I definitly would not consider it slow. Everything was hot and delicious when it arrived and the waiter constantly refilled our water glasses and made sure to ask how everything was.

Every time I eat at regional thai I can't wait to go back. The food is always great and I especially love the tom kah gai soup and pad thai. The lunch and dinner boxes are very good, too. True, the service can be spotty, but I find it worth it.
