best place to go
I have eaten from this restaurant numerous times and have found each and every experience is great. The food is always tasty & completely the best. The best coconut rice in town & the panang is delicious.

Love the New Look I'm been going to Regional Thai for many, many visits, and I love the new look and new addition to the original menu. I tried Guacamole with goat cheese & sundries tomato, it is awesome. The drinks menu also very , very good, my favarite one is passion magarita. Can't wait to go back.

7th ave disaster
This is my second Thai restaurant i've tried in this area being that I work here. I was in such a mood for great Thai. This place was horrible in so many ways. Its hard to even fathom how and why my food; and my co-workers, came out soo bad. To mess up something like Pad Thai just shouldn't be so. So I am not sure where the good reviews come from. Other than the nice service I got while I waited for my takeout, I ate it because I was so hungry. The noddles weren't the noodles used in pad thai, they were hard and some unedible. the shrimp was hard, it was to salty and the order was so small. This place goes down in my don't waste your time money, or punish you taste-buds place. I try to give other places a shot, but looks like I have to stick to my fav. place.

Consistently great across-the-board.
...I've been coming to Regional Thai almost once a month for the past five years or so (I work down the block). The service has always been good, albeit somewhat slow at times (especially during peak hours). I've had many coworkers & friends join me and everyone loves it. Great portions for the price, and food is always good. I go as often as I can and recommend the Railroad Fried Rice. Thumbs-up for Regional Thai Staff!

It ain't what it used to be
I can never understand how a restaurant can go from great to poor in a matter of months. Tonight we had pad thai that tasted like it had been in the fridge too long, uncovered. And the peanut sauce we asked for one the side didn't have a peanut in it, rather something that was more chili-like. So scratch another Chelsea thai place off the list, they're all tanking lately.
