The food was good, not great. But the delivery was very prompt. It is definitely worth the value.

I've eaten-in and had delivery from Tacocina many times. The food is delicious, the portions are great, and service is good. Whether you visit Tacocina on Cinco de Mayo or you're just dining on a weeknight it will be an enjoyable experience. Oh and try the shrimp quesadillas they're delish...

I've been to Tacocina several times and it has always been very good! The food is tasty and there is a nice, cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. The main room is decorated tastefully with Frida Kahlo painting posters and other mexican trinkets. They also have a courtyard/garden where you can eat that is nice. I loved their chicken mole and also their chimichangas. And their margs are awesome, too!

From the first time I went to TAcocina, it has been nothing but the best. I love their food, the service and the atmosphere. My favorite thing to do is to dip the chips into the guacamole and then the salsa. It's so good that when my food arrives, I don't eat it until all the chips are gone, lol Thanks to Sharon for introducing me to TAcocina.

My husband, toddler son, and I are all big fans of Tacocina. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and my husband who is from LA and knows good "legit" Mexican food, gives the food high marks. We order delivery at least once a week and have never waited more than 30 minutes for an order. Most times the order arrives in 15-20 minutes. It's always hot and they've never gotten an order wrong. We dine there an average of 3-4 times a month, and adore the margaritas and extremely kid-friendly service. Great job, Tacocina. Keep it up!

So I am surprised and saddened by my bad experience with Ta Cocina delivery tonight, and feel I am left without a choice other than to share it with all of you. We ordered an app and a couple entrees this evening at about 7:30 for Mother's Day. They told us it would be 30-45 minutes. So at about 8:30, we called to check in. The young woman assured us that the delivery guy had already left, and since he only had two other orders would be there any minute. She did not apologize. When we complained, she offered us $5 off our order after an extensive talk with the manager. At about 9:00, which is an hour and a half since our order for the folks playing at home, we were told he would be there any minute. Ten minutes later, they called us back and we were told he had gotten lost (Did I mention we live THREE BLOCKS AWAY?) and they would have to redo the food. She did not apologize. They did not offer any other discount until we firmly expressed our displeasure, and after getting the manager to contact the owner, they finally offered 50% off. With no apology. We were tempted to take the offer, but it would then be two and a half hours after we ordered, and without an apology, and having to raise a ridiculous amount of noise to get what should have been the offer when they were an HOUR late. I guess my biggest issue is that we were regular customers, and if we were in the restaurant and that happened, there is no way they would have gotten away with that.
