    Tasty, fresh and dependable

I've been ordering from them for years. I go in once in a while and the place is always very clean. The staff are super nice. Food is consistently good. Delivery is very fast. It's not Chinatown but as far as chinese delivery it's my fave in the hood.

    not bad for take out

Just your normal takeout place but their food is better than others. Their beef is not as chewy as it is at other take out places. chicken wings are pretty good and service is very fast.

Fast service and decent tasting food for the price. Exactly what I'm asking for so I'll keep on ordering from them!

    Solid Chinese

Red Star is good, reliable, and cheap. It's not great, but the veggies taste crisp and fresh, the rice is cooked correctly, and I'll even order shrimp from there (I am pretty discriminating when it comes to seafood from Chinese restaurants. The people who work there are super nice and efficient. All around, a solid experience--you get more than you pay for.

    Not recommended

Ugh. That was one of the worst General Tso's Chicken dinners I have ever had in my life. The chicken was soggy and the sauce was not on point at all! I threw it away. I have not yet tried the pork fried dumplings, but I did smell the sauce and I am not expecting anything much better. Come on guys! These are American Chinese food basics. If you can't get GTC sauce right, then I don't know if I can trust you for anything!
