I ate the this place for dinner and the food was really tasty. My husband who hates vegetarian food and is an everyday meat eater said that the food was delicious and he would definitely go back. And this guy is an extremely picky eater. One thing was he asked for diet coke with no ice and they brought a 3/4 full cup of soda. I thought that was pretty rude. The dessert-chocolate covered strawberry shprtcake was good. Nothing out of this world. Try the jerk seitan skewers, soul chicken appetizer and the bourbon chicken. I got citrus beef which was good but a bit too spicy and smoky.

My new favorite restaurant as well as the new favorite of my 3 dining companions. Together we ranged from meat eating to vegan and we all loved everything about this place. Everything ordered (we went back again the next day) was absolutely sensational. Would absolutely and without hesitation recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone who appreciates outrageously delicious food. The cakes (all vegan) are unbelievable - especially the "cheesecakes" and the chocolate covered strawberry shortcake. The butter pecan "ice cream" was also wonderful. Everything is vegan (with optional dairy cheese). Pleasant environment, friendly and helpful staff. Go often and order everything to share to be able to sample as much as possible. You will not ever regret going there. Go early though because it is a small restaurant and reservations are not accepted.

This is the best vegetarian restaurant in the city.. in my opinion. It's a really small and quaint place- expect to rub shoulders with local villagites-- but the food is superb..and service is usually great too. The price of the lunch specials are a great great deal too! Under $8 for good meal- not like some places that charge more than that for side dishes (ex: Soul fixins charges 8.95 for 4 starchy side dishes... but anyway..) I'm addicted to the Caribbean Jerk Spiced Seitan! I'm waiting for them to make it in the form of an entree! MUST VISIT if you haven't already. RB is a real treat!

Amazing food!- the Creole soul Chicken, and hot salmon rolls for appetizer is a winner. You really can't go wrong at this place. The atmosphere is hip, laid back but classy at the same time, the value is exceptional. Have never been dissappointed in what I ordered. It is worth the wait.

Absolutely the best vegan place in the city. I order from here at least every other night. My personal favorites are the chocolate soy shake, portabello mushroom sandwich with pesto, and the chicken parm (though when you have this delivered it gets a little soggy). Even my non-vegan roomie is addicted to the soy shakes-- they are awesome.

I think I've gotta rave about the mock buffalo wings. The sauce is so think and filling. I also had a bamboo club with salad. The bread wasn't that great, but the tofu is thick and firm and the mock bacon, Vegan mayo is yummy. I think you great a large portion for what you pay for. For dessert, just staring at the cute tattooed waiter was enough sweet for me.

Tho unexpectedly small and consistently crowded, everything on the vast, inexpensive menu is delicious... immediately evident by the great smells upon entering. Veg dishes as well as meat dishes substituted with soy are all full of flavor and impressive textures but if you have limited time, money, or adventure start with the ice cream and you'll be back.
