Mmmm falafel!!
I don't know what that other comment is talking about - these guys go out of their way to give the customer great service!! The food is GREAT - but I don't know anything about the meat - I'm a vegetarian. I definitely recommend their non-meat dishes. Lentil Soup? TO DIE FOR.

Food good, but service getting worse
We started to come here about a year ago and have been here several times now. The food is really quite good, but the service has gone from poor to worse. The waitstaff is offputting, distracted and often completely confused. Please train your waitstaff so this place remains a viable option for dinner. It is close to being off our list for places to go.

The Real Deal
If you've ever been to the middle east, you know this place is the real deal. You don't know what hummus is until you've had it here! The falafel is by far the closest I've had to how they make it in Israel. Great friendly staff and a perfect neighborhood location. Try it once and you'll keep coming back, I promise.

Great food and atmosphere
Not only is the food at Rectangles delicious but the decor of the restaurant is beautiful and the service excellent. To add to that the price is right. It has become one of my families favorite place to dine.

A great place to dine for Israeli food.
I travel from Rockland just to dine at Rectangles. It's a long drive and then to wait for a table is worth the trip. The food is authentic and reminds me of Israel. The decor has old world charm. You're in for a treat if you're lucky enough to try their weekend special "Jachnoon" or "Hamin". It usually sells out by the time I arrive. The staff is courteous and they have a full bar also. I have been a regular since they have opened. Rectangles has become my Israeli Cheers. They also air all Israeli sports of the TV.

Warm and friendly Israeli Restaurant.
I am so glad the upper east side finally has this amazing restaurant. I am so glad you guys moved from downtown. I crave authentic Israeli cuisine and now I don't have to go far at all. I frequent this restaurant often and even have had it delivered on occasion. I love their combination plate and falafel. You get a lot of food for the price and I always have leftovers. I have NEVER been disappointed with anything here. The new restaurant is warm and inviting with a Moroccan look. The staff is very friendly and quick to respond.
