    Bland food

The pad thai was too tangy & sweet. The wrapper of the "Fresh Rolls" tasted like parchment paper, not very fresh. The Panang curry was one of the blandest dishes I've had in my life. It's difficult to believe that people give this place positive reviews!

    Poor delivery communication!

My friend and I ordered takeout. My lunch special order was missing everything but the entree, and her entree was missing the tofu that she specifically ordered! They didn't offer much in the way of reimbursement. The food was decent, but couldn't be eaten with the one chopstick we recieved! Will try again...and make myself much more clear when ordering...

Great value, awesome people, good food

We live 3 blocks up from here and have turned it into the "standard" thai order... pad thai and masaman. Agree with the sunday ritual poster above. great service (the proprietress knows us by name and is WONDERFUL), fast delivery (to counter above the delivery always burns my hands taking it out of the bag). give the avocado curry a whirl. tied with "thailand" in chinatown for value/food.

    Our Sunday Ritual

Every Sunday my best friend and I dine at Pattaya for their exquisite Pad Thai and their delicious appetizers!! The service is good, the atmosphere great, and you get plenty for your money!! Delivery is not recommended, but if you're on Second Av in the Fifties, I definately recommend you stop in and enjoy a fantastic at great value!!

    They really know their customers!

I ordered from here last April and had to send back because of hair -- so they issued a credit which I noted on my menu. Six months later, I asked if they could honor the credit, so they asked for my address and then they told me what I had ordered 6 months before and what had been wrong with it! They honored the credit no problem! Then, to be even nicer to me, they decided to store my credit card number somewhere so that I wouldn't have to tell them each time I called. This I did not like. So in short, great food, quick delivery, etc..... but pay in cash if possible.
