I love Thai food and have visited Thailand several times - however the food here is mediocre at best despite its name. The owner should seriously think about improving its cooking or this restaurant would not last. I live in a block away but would never go back or order from there.

I order takeout from Real Thai quite regularly, for lack of other affordable options in the area. The food is quite decent. My only complaint is that, when you eat in the restaurant, the lunch special salad is literally two pieces of lettuce and maybe a tomato. Not very "special" if you ask me! Go for the soup.

After a much needed renovation, both in decor and food, it has become a nice little spot. The staff is always friendly and I like the thai salad a lot, it has nice-sized slices of tofu, and is shareable. i also like the curry puffs, and the pad thai is again, shareable with decent size shrimp, although i would like 1 or 2 more shrimp. Everything is resonably priced and they also have some thai beers. All in all i just like it.

The lunch special isn't quite such a good deal any more (no more yummy spring roll or pattaya), but the pad see eew is still delicious.

I ordered the lunch pad thai for take out. It was ready fast and the woman was very nice. You do get a lot of food for a low price, however I was disappointed by the lack of chicken in my pad thai. The flavor was also only OK. Unfortunately (because of the good price), I probably won't go back.

Food is original from Thailand. Lunch is soup or salad (with peanut sauce), entree, and pattaya all together for $7. And the entrees are very fresh and good. The mango, sticky rice, with coconut milk dessert tastes exactly the same as the one I had in Thailand. What's amazing is that somehow they have good mangos in the winter.

We order from this restaurant several times a week. You get a lot for your lunch money. The food is consistent and straight forward.
