Awesome Italian near the Theatre District

Came here for a pre-theatre dinner before seeing Book of Mormon and was totally impressed!! The Apple, Pear and Ricotta ravioli with prosciutto, pistaccio and gorgonzola sauce- honestly one of the most delicious things I've ever had IN MY LIFE. I even had

    Not recommended

Nothing makes me more angry than expensive unappetizing food. The menu descriptions make you think the meal will be delicious. But the salad was served with limp lettuce, the risotto perhaps 1 or 2 days old and don't even bother with the so-called filet

Good food, but what a rip-off

We went to Resette on a Friday night. Arrived for 9:00 dinner and promptly seated. Ambience was aveage at best, and VERY noisy. We ordered 2 glasses of house wine for $10 each. The glass was not close to a full serving. We ordered Nonna's meatballs a

    Best pre theatre

Best deal in Mid town. Had a great waiter (John) and terrific fresh made dinner. Fresh Cesear salad , terrific Chicken parma with pasta , dessert, coffee , and wine for $35.00. Amazing

    Loved it

Second time here, totally enjoyable, like the first time. Food was great and waiter was exceptional.

    Pasta sauce tasted canned

This is quite possibly the most unappetizing 'italian' food we've ever eaten. 2 people, 1 drink each and $100 bill. Meat sauce was more unappetizing than a can of chef boyardee. Vodka sauce tasted like chef boyardee with velveta mixed in. Inedible. Do not

    Service issues

We went on a Sunday nite in the summer so understandably it was empty and more then enough wait staff to serve us. But they didn't. It took 20 minutes and a reminder to get my glass of wine. At 730 dinner they didn't have pizza (6 types on the menu) or

Pleasant new Italian spot with some issues

Re Sette sits on one of my alternate walking routes to and from work. Passing by on a weeknight, with nothing better to do, I popped in. It's a clean, cozy spot doing "Nuovo Italiano, " New York style. The menu is slightly schizoid, but in a good way.
