    Best on the block!

This place is surrounded by flashy soho coffee shops and cafes. But don't let them distract you away from this local treasure. Rbbts has great food, prices, and service. I come here almost every day for coffee. I also come a couple times a week for lunch and dinner. I am never let down or disappointed. Even if you are not a vegetarian try the veggie burger. It's unreal.

Decent food, high prices, poor service

I've been to Rbbts several times. Every once in a while, the food is delicious and hits the spot. Other times (and given the prices, too many times), the meals miss the mark. I also don't appreciate the service -- paying $10 per salad is fairly standard NYC fare. Paying $10 for a bit of goat cheese and iceberg lettuce (when it should be mixed greens, beets, etc) is inexcusable. I understand we had bad weather over the weekend that prevented some deliveries, what I don't understand is how you can serve a customer total crap and hope you get away with it because it's a to-go order. It's not the end of the world -- 30 wasted minutes walking there and back, and we did get refunded quickly -- but I'm not wild about the precedent, especially since it would be so easy to tell us the ingredients were simply unavailable. Restaurants that aren't focused on quality and try to get away with things aren't worth the time. Overall -- the place is decent when it's on point, but the spotty quality and service make it easy to skip.

    Locals Dream

This place has something for everyone. I am a vegetarian and he is far from it, but we both were able to have a fantastic meal. The owners are really down to earth and interesting to talk to. I highly recommend the tomato soup, it is the best i have had in the city. My boyfriend would tell you that their bacon egg and cheese is to die for.

    Great Great Great

so i went in on a wednesday night around 9:20pm because i found out it was a BYOB and i wanted to share wine with a friend. i had a great experience. even though we walked in 40 mins before closing time they treated us very nicely and we felt no rush. the service was amazing and the food was delicious. i will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and coworkers.
