this is a real old-fashioned neighborhood place like you would find in brooklyn or queens maybe. great italian food at low prices...really really like home cooked food. i loved it!

Good Delivery Choice
The food was good and the delivery time was rapid. They have a large menu, but don't alwasy have everything on it available.

Many of you just don't get it...
These are real New Yorkers making real food. Those of you who think the service is bad are clueless and out of touch with real people. I love these people and go there sometimes to just hang out with the staff. Great food, great people, great place.

OK Food - Poor Attitude at Counter
The food was decent but not the best. Prices were reasonable for a meatball and veal parm hero. Perhaps my review would be better if the counterperson actually cared. Poor, apathetic attitude and even worse service. Acted as if we were lucky to be there. We won't go back.

Not a bad pizza but not the best
Ray's Pizza is small and uncomfortable so get your slice to go. We just tried a slice of cheese and were happy with it but let's face it--it was just a slice of cheese pizza but what the heck...you're in the middle of Little Italy in New York City and you can't complain about that! The truth is we had a slice in a small hole-in-the wall joint across the street from our hotel in midtown and it was just as good--maybe even better but with a definitely different crust. There's good pizza all over town really. It's just a matter of finding the one that suits your particular taste and everybody has different opinions of what tastes good to them. The bottom line is great pizza's exist within New York City and outside of it. You just have to look for them.

Ths place is a pizzeria dressed up to be
A restaurant...the pizza was great and cheap....but dont expect a quick slice....takes 20 minutes to get a sicilian and that was with the place half empty........very casual, with strange atmosphere waitresses staring out the window since its cramped and theyve nowhere to go....
