Going downhill...and fast!
When this first opened, this was a welcome addition to our over-trendy UWS. But now: this is a poor excuse for food. We order for delivery often and now, we will 'skip this place': calamari is inedible, garlic bread is burnt, we gagged on the honey-mustard topping for wings, and the final assault: we ordered pizza with onions: what we got: lukewarm pizza with raw onions thrown on top. And by the way, they never remember to send napkins!!

Good Pizza but watch the price hike
My wife and I went here for late night eats one and were charged $14 for two slices of pizza! Unbelievable! The place on 80th and Amsterdam is open late and much cheaper but not as good. Caesar's on 84th and Amsterdam is the best pizza in the neighborhood but not open very late.

Surprisingly Improved
This place is just around my corner and I used to grab pizza there only because it was there but it was certainly not amazing, but I left NY for 9 months and went back to Ray's last night and the pizza was really really surprisingly good! Good job guys!

Quite yummy
I've only been in the neighborhood a few weeks & this is by far the best pizza place. Maybe not tops in the city, but definitely tops for the UWS. It's great for when you have a pizza craving & don't want to travel very far.

Best Pizza in Neighborhood
We've tried five or six places since Garlic Bob's our mainstayclosed. Like a previous reviewer noted, UWS pizza is generally disappointing. Ray's is the best we've found, and we're happy to have found it given the lousy alternatives. Ray's sauce is garlicky and very tasty, and the crust is a tad thicker than you usually find in NYC pizzerias. Delivery is quick, and it's one of the least expensive pies in the city. It's very good.

Decent pizza for the UWS
It never ceases to shock me just how bad pizza is on the UWS. This place is the exception, however, as it's a pretty good pie. It certainly wont be the best pizza you've ever had in your life, but it's pretty good. And they dont destroy it by putting cornmeal on the bottom like those pizzerias that have not clue. Delivery is always speedy.
