Best raw food deal in town!
The prices are incredible for a raw food restaurant especially considering the quality of the food. THe chipotle hand roll was by far one of the best appetizers I've ever had at a restaurant. I got the stuffed mushroom which was a little on the creamy side but delicious nonetheless. Plus a side dish and salad all for $14! Can't beat that

Soooooo delicious!
My GF and I went for dinner. Just came home actually and jumped online to rave about this place. WE are rawfoodies of a sort and are thrilled to have this place in the neighborhood. The food was great, service was delightful and the atmosphere- perfect. For the reviewer who felt it was not a good value.... really? Stay in Manhattan, please.

Raw superstars
I ate at Rawstar for the first time yesterday and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious, fresh, inventive and presented beautifully. The waitress was very sweet and attentive even in the midst of a totally packed house, and when I arrived alone, instead of making me wait for a table to open up she checked with a regular customer seated on a four-top and then warmly sat me with her so I felt immediately welcomed and like a member of the family. I had the stuffed bell pepper with two sides, all of which was perfectly spiced, balanced, vibrant, and super fresh. I felt healthier and more alive with each bite. I only wish I lived closer so I could pick up dinner from here all the time, but will definitely be making the trip over from Ft. Greene regularly anyway. So pleased to discover Brooklyn has such an excellent raw restaurant.

always some issue
The food is good if they have it. They may or may not be friendly. Delivery might come. Portions are small and expensive. Okay for a casual attempt to eat.

Loving the lasagna
I loved the raw lasagna made with a sunflower seed crust and layered with veggies and tomato paste.. The kale with pears was awesome... Def worth me going back asap

Not so pleased...
My first experience with them was a delivery order. First, they didn't get my card number correct and had to call back. Fine. BUT, I was told 30-40mins and I waited almost 2 hours for my food. All they could do was apologize and say "that was not our intention." I realize they were probably very busy but this was a lousy first impression to say the least. The food was very good but portions were small and way too expensive. I live right near the place and am way into vegan and raw food fare, however it is very unlikely I will ever order from this place again.

Interesting
Very interesting take on raw food. I would say that the food was pretty tasty, but once again with the Brooklyn raw food - the portions are simply too small for the price. They are also pretty nut heavy. The atmosphere was cool and they were super nice. Not sure I would travel the hour and a half from Manhattan to go there again though. The lasagna was really good tho...
