What a deal!
Four of us were so satisfied. Charming, attentive server. Try the albaloo polo with jujeh---juicy grilled marinated Cornish hen, skewered and served with basmati rice spiked with sour cherries. Appetizer hits: the sambuseh (tasty, samosa-like triangles) and the warm eggplant/tomato dipmirza ghasemi. Can't rave about soup or dessert, which were so-so, but the apps and mains were scrumptious. The prices are SO reasonable.

Very Good
The lamb shank is delicious! Dolmeh for an appetizer is also one of my favorites.

Good Food and nice service
The food was great and the server were very attentive. Only been inside the restaurant once so it could have been a one time deal. But i've ordered for delivery several times and the food has always been better than ever! The price is reasonable and way better than Persepolis prices!

Delicious
Realy good. Only have gotten delivery, which takes awhile but is worth it. I am from la and this always hits my iranian food spot.

Great Food
The hummus is phenomenal and so was the chicken sandwich. The dumplings were incredible especially the sauce. The salad was interesting..it was more herbs than lettuce but still ok. Only ordered in so don't know about the atmosphere but we LOVED it!

Great food
The food is great, near the level of Reza's in Chicago if you've had the pleasure of going there. Service didn't seem as bad as people said, and the atmosphere is fun because almost everyone there is Iranian. I agree with somebody who posted before me--how about some pictures on the wall having something to do with Iran?

Best Middle Eastern in NYC
The service is poor. None of the front staff are Iranian and the delivery sometimes goes missing for an hour or so. However, the food is consistently of high standard. You cannot go wrong with the Soltani. The joojeh is good. The stews are very variable, sometimes excellent - sometimes average. The khorosh bademjan gets interpreted in radically different ways. I am a frequent customer, I just wish they would improve their negative points.
