Guess who’s back? Petrov. But guess who’s #1? Ravagh. I mean, what can I say: it is just the best. Oh I see, so you don’t believe me? Just listen to this…. when I get back from the gym (Ninety-five crunches), I order the Kujeh Kabob with a side of Shirazi salad. What do I do on the weekend? I bring all the ladies to Ravagh for the combination platter. And wait till you see what I do when I make my bonus. I am going to walk straight to Ravagh in my jeans (lucky-seven stonewash size-waist 31) and I am going to order the Panir & Sabzi (top notch cheese of New York). Whenever I walk past this place, people point at me in my Pumas and say “there goes Bad Boy Petrov.” Listen up, “don’t just be a nobody, come to Ravagh.”

What a goldmine! The food is simply the best . As an Oriental I never thought I would be so "addicted" to Persian food.

Plenty of food, tasty, to my door usually in 25-30 minutes... but when I think about it now I only live 3 blocks away. I go with the lamb shish kebab platter. I actually just tried to order and they said 1hr 15minute for delivery and 45min for pickup.. which sucks because I am really in mood for shish kebab.

I just moved here from LA where good Persian restaurants are a dime a dozen but was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of Ravaghs food. The kabobs were excellent and I can now say that this is one of the best Persian restaurants I've ever dined at anywhere!

Guess who's #1? Ravagh. This place is just the best. All my Bulgarian friends go there to have some tea (best tea in the city) and enjoy the great lamb chops (#1 dish). Whether or not I am walking to get some lunch in my suit or getting drinks late at night with my boys, it's the spot to be. "Check it out..have some tea."

This restaurant, serves the closest persian food to your mom's home cooking. Good quality and fine cooking. Service is good they try but , short of staff, at times you have to wait to get any attention. Decore could improve , I wish they would hire a professionl to redo the place, and put them among the NY finest restaurants. Best of luck to them.

If you are looking for a real New York neighbourhood restaurant that isn't a pretentious tourist trap and also offers wonderful and authentic Persian food with sincerely good service that will make you feel special, this is the place. The food is of the utmost quality and the service is friendly in a genuine way. One of Manhattan's best kept secrets! This is the first place we will go, on our next trip back to NY. We can't stop thinking about how delicious it was...
