Delicious main courses, but that's it.
Skip the appetizers! Honestly, I've never tried anything that bad before (and I'm Persian). I was shocked (food quality 0). HOWEVER, the main courses are really delicious. The restaurant is most definitely worth visiting because of the main courses, so stick to them! (food quality 5). Desert was okay (food quality 4)

Pleasant experience all around
Inexpensive, tasty and nice ambiance. Unpressured service. Sign says just Persian Kitchen.

I’ve been meaning to eat here for years
Ravagh was fancier than I expected, with white table clothes and preset water glasses, but the prices don’t reflect that - none of the main courses were over $20 a person. The decor was relatively plain and the only indications to the cuisine’s origins were framed pictures of beautiful Iranian scenery and scripted Farsi. Most of the first floor (of two) tables were occupied with couples and a few families. Sultani Kabob - A delicious dish with one ground beef and one sliced beef kabob with white basmati rice and grilled onion and tomato. Well seasoned but not spicy.

Smooth pick up process through SeamlessWeb
Ordered through SeamlessWeb. Thought they had a solid and interesting menu. Did pick up which was super easy. Pleased with the packaging and presentation. Bread and soup was still warm with good portions. Will order again!

Great Persian in NY!
Having lived in London for a while I used to eat Persian food a lot more often. I also have Persian friends cook me homeade food so I know what I like. This place was good. I went with friends from college that I hadn't seen in years and we talked for hours without ever being rushed. This place is probably not what you want if you are in a rush. If you want the check you have to ask them, but for us this was a perfect place to go.
