Ordered for delivery. Fast service. Kebab portions are small although pretty good. Hummus was a real disappointment. Never had Hummus made with mayo.

The kebabs are very good here, but the stews are rediculously salty two out of three times! The eggplant stew tases like the Dead Sea or Lake Urmia! I almost returned my food tonight. For god's sake, please put less salt in the food!!!

The first Persian food I had in NYC was on 2nd ave. I don't want to even remember the name. I tried few Persian restaurants in the United States but nothing beats Ravagh. The food has real Persian taste and the prices are very economical. Servers are very friendly and there is very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The quality and economic value of this restaurant is uncompareable. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!

My wife and I order from Ravagh about twice a month and it is one of our favorite UES restaurants. The cornish hen with sour cherry rice is fantastic. The chicken kebabs are at times dry, as other reviewers have noted. I love the baba ghanoush and the yogurt. It was first brought to our attention by Persian friends who compared it favorably to their mothers' cooking. I slightly prefer the kebobs at Persepolis on 2nd Ave in the mid-70's, but Ravagh is a better value.

Nice restaurant. They have great food. I love all their dishes. Try sour cherry rice and Burberry(zershak) rice, instead of plain one for your Kebab. Koko Sabzi for their appetizer is very healthy. Service is friendly and good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I order a lot from this place when i want kebobs because it's in the neighborhood and the food is generally good. the kebob sultani is delicious and the fish is fresh and delicious. the chicken can be dry at times. What bothers me the most about this place is the lack of organization and the sloppy delivery packaging. The food often arrives in bags that cannot handle the weight and tear easily causing the juices of the meat to spill. They often forget to include something. They are good about sending replacements or giving you credit but I feel bad for the delivery guy who keeps going back and forth. Inefficient service. However, i keep on ordering because the food is pretty good.

Ravagh is a fine establishment. I have been all over New York, excluding the queens and I have not had better Habobs in my life. I will guarantee that will have nones better than the Homos and falafel in this city. Although I am considered a carnivore, I really enjoys the vegetarian cuisine heres. But GOD the hebobs, I dream about them on a daily basis.
