This place has the most amazing lamb I've ever eaten. It's so tender you can cut it with a butter knife. The waitress was very rude and snotty. She spoke to me in the most condescending tone. I'll go back on another night when she's not working.

Although the service can be a little slow at times, the food is fantastic (all the kebobs are the best, expecially the steak and the salmon ), the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is really nice. The place is smallish, so weekend dinners are very popular for locals expect a wait if you have a party of 3 or more and you come in after 7 pm.

We are new to the neighborhood and tried this restaurant on a Thursday night. The restaurant is small, yet the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The food was very delicious and authentic. We had the lamb and the chicken kebabs, both of which were excellent and large portions. The grilled vegetables were also amazing! The only gripe was the slow and borderline-unpleasant service by our waitress...but the food and value will cause us to return!

I am persian living in NYC for last 20 years and let me tell you...it is very hard to find the authenticity of home food in the foreign country. The quality of the food and the service almost takes you to the Middle East ambiance. The comfort and the hospitality of the friendly service is spectacular. But don't trust my words...go and try for youself...

If you love middle eastern food, this is the place to go for authenticity. They make you feel at home the moment you walk in. The food is outstanding whether an appetizer, salad, main course and the Persian baklava and ice cream is the best. This is one of the best restaurants on the Upper East Side for middle eastern food. Cannot more highly recommend. This is the REAL THING!
