Rare Bar & Grill

one of the best burgers i've had in the city- nice and creative variations of burgers too. service was okay- attentive but they kind of tried to rush us- my boyfriend and i are slow eaters and despite the fact that we both still had food on our plates, they repeatedly came to our table asking if we were done and they could take our plates... when we made it clear we were still eating they continued to try to clear our plates- it was pretty annoying. but still, great burgers, and overall nice atmosphere if you're looking for something with loud, chill, in a low-key trendy sort-of way.

but not great. Good selection and a wide variety of dishes to try (go for the banna waffle burger for dessert! ) I had a classic burger and my gf had the sampler which came with three mini burgers, I would suggest going this route, also great cocktails and all and all a pretty cool spot to watch a game and chill at,

I went to Rare for a friends birthday and was expecting overpriced average burgers. Instead, I had one of the best, juciest burgers of my life! All four of us loved our burgers, and the cottage fries are amazing!

This place is entirely overrated. The burger is a big slab of ground chuck meat and just flat out does not taste good. I had the M&M Burger, which sounds great, but definitely does not taste great. The fry trio is definitely awesome though. This place is worth going to for a drink and an appetizer but don't go further than that!

Rare=Legit. It's not a pubby-burger joint, nor a relaxed place to chill. However, the trendy middle-aged crew of New Yorkers creates a nice place to go after work and drink good beers and eat great food with your friends. The Rouqefort Burger and the M&M Burger are amazing, as are the Lollipop wings. Fries are good too. Prepare to at least wait a little bit, but it's well worth it. MEAT!

Burgers are some of the best in the city. Lollipop wings are also legit.

I went here on a Friday night for dinner and drinks with some friends. Overall would have to rate this place as just ok. No problems with the food, service was a bit slow (both at the bar and table), but everything was overpriced. For $50 a person you dont get anything that spectacular. I guess I would try 1 more time.
