This place is a total gem - not at all what we expected from the tacky exterior. The interior is small & simple, but clean & well maintained. The food was great - I had fajitas & my fiance had the chicken with mole sauce. He thought it was one of the best he's had! My fajitas were great too, and the portion was big enough for me to get a full meal out of it again the next day. The sangria was delicious & had tons of fruit in it. The service was great - very attentive & helpful. I will definitely be back here, we loved it!

It is a bit cramped and the bathroom reminds me of a bathroom in an airplane. Those are the only complaints I have. Do not listen to Phil the margarita's and the food is excellent. Get the Nacho Supreme for the appetizer. You'd almost want to order another one. The Arroz con Pollo, The burrito,Chimichanga, and the fajitas are my favs and delicious.

As soon as we sat down, I knew we were in for trouble. Any mexican restaurant that uses hot sauces with artificial colors gets negative points right off the bat. We ordered drinks: i got a mexican beer without a lime - how is that possible. Wife got a house marg. It was full of sugar. Who doesn't know that to make a good marg, use fresh lime juice! The chips and salsa were good. The entres were not. I got chicken enchiladas, wife had "chili relleno". The rellenos were basically inedible: ultra greasy, gloppy not fresh tasting at all. The enchiladas had a ton of grease too and bland sauce. The service was not good that tuesday night, with 1 waitress, so we didn't figure it would be worth the time to wait to voice our dislike of both meals.

Simply lovely. This is the place to go in Park Slope if you want good food at a great price. And most important, the staff is wonderful -- I can't imagine a better place for a family outing if you want a real neighborhood experience. The service was warm and cheerful from the moment we walked through the second-floor door, and it continued throughout our meal. Afterward, our kids asked if we could go back tomorrow.

This is my go to place when I'm craving Mexican. I've tried the others in Park Slope and Rancho is the best. They always take good care of us. I'm a picky eater and they never mess up my order. Food is awesome

Im a very picky eater but the food is delicious. I especially enjoy the shrimp chimichanga and those days where im just lazy i order in. I do eat at the resturant quite often and the food is good quality and very tasty. Although they do not have authentic mexican tacos or mexican sandwiches, they have a wide [select]ion and are very worth it. I would recommend ofcourse the chimichangas, the shrimp quesadilla and the chorinachos yum

I have eaten here a number of times and enjoy the food for the most part. The Sangria isn't the best but it will do on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Service could be a little better but for the price it's a pretty good deal.
