Great before or after a movie
After I see a movie at Cinema village I always stop in here for some Ramen. I get a spicy bowl and add tofu. Always delicious.

Not good for children
Asked for just soup and broth (no veggies and meat) for my kids. We ate but when we got the bill, found that the kids meal was actually MORE than mine! when I asked if it was correct they said yes. We won't be going back as they should have said that we can do this, but it will cost more. Same price...ok. More?

My favorite place to get ramen!
I absolutely love ramen takumi. The prices are great and the food is delicious. Plus the service is great and the food is brought almost instantly. My favorite dishes are their pork dumplings and tan tan men ramen. I definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking for an easy place with good food.

One of the best ramen places in NYC
They have one of the best ramen in NYC! You have to try their Tan Tan Men, all ingredients are specifically paired together. It's a casual cute eatery place, but you will be amazed at their food quality!

Very fast service, food mediocre
Definitely not a place you should go out of your way to eat at. Noodles were stale, broth was nothing to write home about and cabbage was hard and chewy. Basically the ingredients were neither fresh nor exciting - a forgettable bowel of ramen. Service though was incredibly fast, however. We ordered and received our food less than 5 minutes later. If you want better ramen, head into midtown for Totto. Prices at Takumi are 11.50/bowl of ramen.

Great ramen
I love the noodles they use for Tsuke-men (cold noodles to be dipped in a warm sauce). So whatever noodle dish I order, I always ask them to use the flat tsuke-men noodles. They look like linguine. Flat but a bit fat. It is delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is always consistent. Their dumplings are great too. Just FYI I am Japanese raised in China so I should know.
