Solid UWS Sushi
I always struggle with food on the UWS and usually just end up eating at a bar or diner out of frustration. I saw this place on menupages and tried it and it lived up the the reviews. Solid sushi, friendly, fast serive all around good experience. My new sushi spot on UWS.

Tasty sushi, nice people!
It's really a nice atmosphere and a very professional, warm service. The Sushi tastes great and oceanfresh. Tab water looks yellowish at first sight - but this is only due to the colored glasses :-)

Great Sushi!
This place is amazing! Great sushi and and a great atmosphere. Just look out for the billthey overcharged me for some things. Otherwise, just perfect!

Outstanding Spicy Tuna
You must try the spicy tuna martini appetizer. It is so delicious, tasty and fresh. A must have! I order it as a meal sometimes. Great place, rolls are great too. Very fresh and tasty!

My favorite neighborhood sushi spot
I go at least once a month, and it's my favorite neighborhood sushi spot. relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, delicious and fresh sushi and great service.

Really good, fresh sushi
I just went to Raku for the first time last night. Thought the sushi was really good, especially the spicy rolls! Was super fresh. Will definitely go back soon. Atmosphere was very chill. Nothing special, but homey and relaxed. Think this will be my upper west side sushi joint!

most outstanding sushi in manhattan
If you want something fancy and that hides the flavor of the fish, go to Nobu's or the like....you'll find plenty of dishes that are so dressed up that you can't even taste the sushi/shashimi. If you actually LIKE the taste of fish, and want something fresh, clean and simple, this is the place. I have been frequenting this place 3-4 times per month for the past two years, and it only gets better and better.
