    Bad Service

Rai Rai Ken has decent Ramen but not a great variety. The atmosphere is pretty vibrant however the service is bad. The woman that was working there was one of the most rude people I have ever met and very incompetant. As a longtime customer I was angered to recieve this treatment. I will never go there again and I do not recommend this establisment, the service is just to bad to overcome.

    Good and Cheap

Went to check it out after reading about it on here. I had chilled noodles and my friend had some ramen. Both were quite good, and our food came out in about 3 minutes. The place is very tiny, and the chef literally handed the food straight to us from over the counter. Despite its size, it wasn't too hot or anything; it was quite cool. Service gets a 4 because they never refilled our waters the whole time we were there until we asked, and that's pretty important considering how spicy some of the stuff is. Bottom line - it's good, cheap, and open till 3AM. I'll go there again.

    Eat here once a week

So good, although people tend to neglect the AMAZING yaki soba because their soups are so popular. I switched to the yaki soba a few months ago and havent looked back.

    Not to be missed

I often get the miso ramen to go, sometimes with a side of the succulent roast pork if i'm extra hungry. the ramen is dished out in a giant quart-sized container that keeps it hot until you're ready to eat it. the fried crispy garlic on top is the crowning jewel to this delicious and very filling soup- i'm hardly able to finish it in one sitting! at $8.04 (with tax) it's not the cheapest bowl of ramen in the city, but it is certainly one of the very best. don't miss out!

    So Solid Ramen

The ramen is delicious (chicken miso ramen w/ toasted garlic rules) and sitting at the bar is great. Love this place.

    Satisfying broth

Rai rai ken is cozy, but I found it a bit on the dingy side. Anyway, I don't care too much about atmosphere. But the food...the soy sauce ramen is my favorite. My only complaint with the dish is how stingy they are with the pork. One piece, come on! I want more! Noodles are good too. Everyone seems to love the gyoza, but really, this is my least favorite gyoza that I've had.

    So speedy!

I got take out for lunch and literally the time between arriving, ordering and waiting for my food was less than 5 minutes. I got a take out container the size of my head filled with miso ramen. It was extremely tasty and steaming hot even when I got back to my desk at work. I think it's definitely worth the price for the amount of food I got. I will be going back again soon!
