Best party place!
We just had my 60th birthday party here. It was just perfect. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants special attention. We were made to feel like family.

Yummy Yummy
The atmosphere is awesome and the food is even better. I'm learning that the Greeks like to party late into the evening, so if you want to hear amazing music and have fun greek dancing, aim for late in the evening, but earlier is a nice quiet experience. Either way, the food is delicious, the waitstaff is so friendly and helpful. Our waiter was more than happy to recommend dishes and he never let my glass get below half empty. I will most definitely be returning here and so should you!

Best service with Authentic Cuisine!
My fiance is Greek so we often have authentic food at holiday events. The food here was as good, if not better, than the dishes prepared by his family! The service was superb from the minute we walked in to the time we left, some 3 hours later. The waiter made fabulous suggestions including the "Saganaki" a Greek cheese that is lit on fire at your table! We stayed for the music and dancing and had a blast! If you are looking for authentic Greek cuisine with a wonderful atmosphere, Rafina is for you!

loved the grilled octopus
The food was so good and so fresh, grilled octopus was so yummy, The restaurant is so beautiful, the decor is simple and elegant.

poor food and service!
The bread was stale, the food under cooked and the fish tasted stale! I do not recommend!

Beyond wonderful
My husband & I hosted our rehearsal dinner at this fantastic restaurant and we could not be more pleased! The food, staff and atmosphere were wonderful. We had dinner there several months prior and that convinced us to have our event there. The owner and his staff were attentive and the food was great and plentiful. Thank you for making our event a memorable one!

Disappointment
I went there this past weekend and the food was ok. I usually eat in Astoria for Greek food. Meat was dry and there was a lot of salt and fat in the dishes. Live music was good. The service was just ok. I received the check but it was from another table. Then I paid and the waitress only brought back a portion of my change! I had to tell her that I gave you an extra $50.00 because I had no change. I previously requested her to bring me the change twice before that! When the music started, the wait service was more interested in the people dancing than catering to the people eating dinner! If you want to waste alot of money for a few hours, this is your place.
